Thoroughly saturate hair with water. Take a deep breath and become centreed. Begin by dispensing a small amount of hairbath into hands and emulsify into a light lather. Apply with fingertips to scalp, massaging and cleansing. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary and follow with Color Radiance Daily Conditioner.

Smells nice but..
I found this quite drying. It smells nice and lathers well but definitely strips my mixed texture afro hair (some waves, some curls, much frizz!) of moisture. I’ll use it up but won’t buy it again as I need something more hydrating.

Leaves hair feeling soft
I use this on my natural afro hair and it leaves it feeling really soft. It’s not too harsh or strong and seems to be very gentle which makes it easier to detangle whilst shampooing.

Good for dry hair
Recommended by my hairdresser. I have dry coily hair and this does not leave my hair frizzy. Hair feels cleans but also soft after use.

Very gentle and moisturising
This is one of my favourite shampoos. It cleans my hair well but is very gentle, moisturising, gets the curls popping and keeps hair looking vibrant. Highly recommend!

Strips colour
This shampoo strips the colour from my hair (I colour to cover grey). I found this out from the ingredient list which contains citrus fruits traditionally used to lighten hair.

Member of the tortured hair
I have very bleached/damaged hair, however thought I'd give this a go, to help my toner colour stay. This smells so incredible, very citrusy and fresh (love this type of smell for a hair product) however the reason I have given it a 4 star instead of 5 is purely that I feel as though it left my hair feeling very dry while washing it out. I didn't however use the conditioner, so perhaps this is the issue..

my go-to shampoo
Won't buy any other! after dry detangling, this shampoo has enough slip to gently detangle my highlighted curls. It also smells great! I always follow with color radiance daily conditioner, which I also praise highly :)

Great clean shampoo for coloured hair
I have bleached and coloured hair and had been using other colour enhancing shampoo that are not only not natural but makes my hair super dry. I came across this by accident and it really amazed me! Even if you use other shampoo without colour-protecting effect, once you switch back to Innersense, you immediately see that your hair colour has been sort of “restored” to when you first dyed it. Though of course you still need to pair with conditioner but it’s only normal with coloured/damaged hair.
