A winner for me…
5I am an avid user of Huda’s palettes and have purchased them all since she started. I do however, favour her more cool toned palettes. I was on the fence about buying this as I had read that it wasn’t as cool a palette as it looked. Firstly, the formula of the mattes are totally different to anything else she’s done in the past. I checked the ingredients and they’ve certainly changed. I didn’t think they could be improved as I know the formula has been tweaked many times already in her palettes, but this is on another level. You only need to dip your brush gently into each pan, otherwise you’ll get unnecessary kick back and too much on the brush as it’s more pigmented than usual. The mattes apply so smoothly, blend so perfectly and more importantly, there was no fading over the day. I also noticed that there was no dryness on my 50’s eye lids, with very little accentuation of any fine lines, the best I’ve ever seen in a matte formula. Also, be aware the colours in the palette are different once applied to the eyelid, but I’ve had that before with Huda’s palettes. I’m a fair skinned, brown eyed blonde and I only wear cool tones, so I would add that ‘Liberty’ and ‘Heroine’ are not cool, nor are they neutral, they’re most definitely warm, so they will remain redundant for me in this palette. Another redundant will be the black, shiny cream ‘Grunge’. I dare say younger customers would find a use for that. The shimmers are beautiful. ‘Strong ‘AF’ which looks silver and black, marbled, is actually a beautiful deep purple shimmer, ‘stand up’ is a peachy, pink neutral shimmer. ‘Rebelle’ seems a brand new formula and is the stand out shimmer for me. It’s absolutely beautiful and with very little to no fall out due to a slightly emollient, yet powder formula. It’s also in my opinion, on a higher level to the special shimmers in Pat McGrath’s palettes. Very pleased I bought this palette and it’ll be a favourite for sure.

Neutral colours
5I'm still getting to grips with application but as someone with neutral skin tone this is great; I find the left hand side cooler than the right. Interesting mix of textures. I'll have to get practising!

5This palette is stunning. There is so much variety in shades and and types of shadows. I love most of the items I’ve tried from Huda and this didn’t disappoint

LOVE IT!
5I love all the shades and it’s become my favourite Huda palette! I love cool tones and this palette is perfect for a Smokey eye. I’m so happy with my purchase, I’ve been reaching for this (and the Grunge blush) all the time.

Grunge indeed
5Wowsers! What’s not to love love love! Takes me right back in time. I’m a neutral skin tone and this is neither too warm or too cool. Had to return a damaged palette though because of inadequate packaging.

Beautiful color story
5This has got to be my favourite from Huda. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. The mattes are super creamy and the shimmers are insane. A very good mix of both and you can create both warm and cool tones looks with it.

Stunning!
5Ah this palette is beyond beautiful. On the whole I feel the palette is offering something very different and in 2023, I think it’s hard to stand out as a unique make up palette. The shade ‘rebelle’ is my favourite; the texture is creamy and it’s ultra shiny!

Classic Staple
5Obsessed with this palette as it is everything I need in one. I am super excited that the classic matte shades contrasting with the high shimmer sparkles are on its way back on the scene and this palette is just that. Creamy and blend-able pigments that all work so well together even if you are a beginner at applying eyeshadow (especially when it comes to a dark smoky eyeshadow look!) Not to mention, I love that shade Grunge is a wet gloss texture which helps hold the shadow so well! Definitely recommend, and a classic palette to have.
