Whether it’s a summer fling or a long-term love affair, Huda Beauty’s newest line up of must-have mattes is officially irresistible. The four vibrant shades are guaranteed to freshen up your beauty look, whether it’s blissful midsummer or bleakest midwinter. First in the lip-loving quartet is ‘Mamacita’, a brilliantly bright poppy coral; then, there’s perfect peachy pink ‘Wild Child’, ultra-flattering dusky rose ‘Jetsetter’ and, finally, the ideal beachy nude ‘Bikini Babe’. Non-drying, featherweight, densely-pigmented and with a stunning, suedette finish, there’s nothing about Huda Beauty’s Liquid Matte Summer Solstice Collection we’re not obsessed with. • How to use

      1. Prep your lips: to improve consistency of application, gently exfoliate with a lip scrub. Blot off any excess oils.

      2. For maximum impact, line lips using the Lip Contour and fade towards the centre.

      3. Apply a thin layer of Liquid Matte in the corresponding or lighter shade to fill in the rest.

      4. Allow approximately 30 seconds for colour to set and intensify to an opaque finish. Colour appearance may vary based on skin tone.

Huda Beauty - Liquid Matte Summer Solstice Collection

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Summer Solstice Collection Reviews

    Mammacita: Hit Wild Child: Miss
Mammacita is potentially my favourite liquid lipstick (I have about 50). Opaque, but thin, long lasting and the colour. I love oranges and this is a beautiful bright orange. Perfect for summer. Wild Child is not the same. Great colour to swatch but it’s not opaque and is quite chalky in appearance and patchy. Doesn’t last very long. Such a shame as it’s a nice colour. Oh also - people rave about the smell of the Huda lipsticks. I personally hate it. It’s so strong it’s like alcohol or something, I can’t pin it down. Not for me.
    wild child
I don't like this product although it smells good. It has poor quality and the colour "wild child" is so weird.
    Thumbs down for Wild Child
I bought Wild Child and, despite the beautiful colour, I’m totally disappointed. It’s patchy and I don’t get to make it work. My lips just look messy and dry. So strange because I have other Huda Beauty matte lipsticks and love them. This one is so weird.. save your money!
    Jetsetter
I love the Huda range. I have lots of her liquid lipsticks and her formula is just amazing. I have bought Kylie Jenner’s lip kits, Jouer ones and they don’t compare to Huda's. Jetsetter is a really nice pink. My “go to’s” being; Bombshell Jetsetter Icon Trophy wife And I’ve just bought heartbreaker so I expect it to make this list too! You will not regret buying these lipsticks!!
    Poor quality!
I brought wild child and thought it would be great despite the reviews saying it comes out watery and patchy, wish I believed it. It really does, the product is so thin and even applied with lip liner I can't get it to work - don't buy, save your coins.
    Jetsetter
Beautiful colour, though a little brighter than I expected (my mistake). It did remain on my lips all day, and from the moment you put it on, it feels completely weightless and it's so easy to forget that you have something on your lips. I have many other Huda Beauty liquid lipsticks, and to me, the formula seemed consistent with her other products, it worked like I expected. Her formula is one of my favourites as it is super comfortable to wear and the colour variations are beautiful.

Love the colour, the formula is great but lighter than the original collection. You need to apply more liquid to get the pigmentation wanted, but the result is gorgeous.
    Not so good :(
I wait for this lipstick shade Bikini babe... and I expect really ideal nude... but it shade is peachy nude... a little bit orange on my light skin... this lipstick is patchy and no long wear... but packaging is so good.
    So disappointed
Huda Beauty's regular liquid lipsticks are my absolute favourite liquid lipsticks out there however this is a completely different formula (I bought Bikini Babe). It's beyond sticky as there's glue in it, it's extremely patchy and comes off after half an hour. I'm so disappointed because I love the colour but it's so hard to build it without getting it too thick and flakey. Was planning on purchasing Wild Child shade as well but definitely won't be after this. The formula also burnt my lips when I put it on and made them red and puffy (the regular huda beauty formula never did this to me) so annoyed I payed £18 for this when it's nothing like the original.
    Wild child
Stunning colour very creamy long lasting and dry to a perfect matte. Amazing summer colour.
    Different formulation?
Not sure if due to the colour, but the formulation seems different. I went for Mamacita and was disappointed to find it was much thinner than the original formulas, with a very watery texture and a lot stickier. Took a couple of layers to get it fully pigmented. Have asked for a replacement so fingers crossed it was just a bad one.
    So disappointing
Huda's lipsticks are my fave. I wear bombshell most days and was so excited to purchase this as soon as it came on CB. But Wild Child is such a let down. Its not as pigmented as the normal collection, and takes several layers. Even then it looks streaky, but simultaneously paint-like. Although the packaging is lovely, the product seems cheap, and I feel like I've wasted my money.
    Not what I expected
I bought the Mamacita colour, as on the pictures it seemed just the right colour I had been looking for over a year - really bright red. Unfortunately, it is completely bright orange. I don't understand how the pictures could be so wrong. It is OK but I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known it is not bright red. It is a little patchy as well. Very thin consistency.
    Honestly beyond tragic
Got the shade wild child, look like someone’s coloured in my lips with an orange/pink highlighter pen. Not what ur wanting tbh, very disappointed, DO NOT BUY.
    HUDABEAUTYMUSTHAVE
I am in love the products. I am literally gonna get the whole collection when i can because the lipsticks are completely amazing. Love the colours the highlighters areee lifffeeeee.
    Holy Grail Lipstick
I seriously have dry lips and Huda Liquid Lips made it possible for me to wear matte lipsticks without cracking and showing the texture of my lips. It's tacky at first but dries down after few minutes ☺️
    Love it
I bought Jetsetter and it is beautiful! Really nice summer colour - warm toned dusty rosy. The quality is the same as the other Huda Beauty lipsticks. Therefore, I am satisfied!
    Mamacita
So I tried Mamacita, this being the first ever lipstick that I've bought from Huda beauty and I was kinda disappointed. It's a lovely colour and light on my lips, but the liquid was really thin, was left quite streaky and didn't last that long. Once a couple of layers were put on, I liked it. I would buy again but maybe put more layers on every couple of hours
    Mamacita and Wildchild
I have seven Huda liquid lipsticks which I absolutely love. I was so excited for these new colours as they are perfect for summer, however I was extremely disappointed. The consistency of liquid is very different from the other lipsticks I have. It is very watery and not at all pigmented, when you layer it up it just looks streaky. I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing pronlem but whatever it is I wouldn't waste your money on these new colours.
    Wow!!!
I bought the shades Mamacita, Jetsetter and Wild Child. What can I say? I'm super happy with my purchase. The colours are really stunning and bright. Jetsetter is a fantastic dusky rose, Mamacita is a coral red while Wild Child is a peachy pink. Everything vanilla scented. Huda did it again.
    Beautiful colour
Beautiful colour the formula is so creamy and lightweight. Lasts all day and does not crack my lips. Perfect summer colour.
    Jetsetter and Wild Child
Jetsetter is lovely and matches the promo swatches. I was so looking forward to have Wild Child but the colour is watery and patchy on the lips, looks very bright, thought it would be a more solid bold colour on the lips but it's not.
    Jestsetter
I love Huda Beauty liquid lipsticks! I love Jetsetter the colour is stunning but a little bit light for my tan complexion. For my tan girls, use a darker lip pencil with it and you'll be good to go.
