Thick, heavy and overpowering
1Love everything Huda, but not this :( it’s as thick as a heavy duty night cream and feels sludgy - I can’t think of another way to describe it. My face felt clogged and dry. It also smells of cinnamon buns, nice if you like that but I spent the whole day overpowered by it. I’ll still be buying all the other products from the range but this isn’t a primer for me.

One of the few good ones
5The only primer the didn't feel silicon-y but made my T-zone not shiny throughout 12 h work day. Got this as a sample with the foundation. I think its a really good primer.

The smell
1I received the primer with an holiday box and I didn't try it on my face because first I applied it on the back of my hand and lord the smell it's like a perfume. It's very overpowering and I couldn't apply to my face only because of the smell. Really disappointed as I had high hope for this.

Makes Foundation Look Cakey
2Pros - feels luxurious, nicely scented (not overbearing), thick and moisturising. Cons - I paired it with my Huda Beauty FauxFilter foundation and it broke up the foundation on my skin, made my makeup look cakey and my pores more obvious. These are all things I never usually have a problem with. I used the faux filter foundation with another primer the day after and it looked amazing. Would not recommend this primer. I really wanted to like this product as I love Huda Beauty products but this did not work for me.

Best Primer! For dry skin
5I absolutely, positively think this is the best primer if you have dry skin. So hydrating and leave s a lovely glow. I’ve used it with other foundations as well. And the foundation stay smooth and fresh. Not at all cakey nor does it emphasise dry patches. So this is a real winner. Well done Huda

5After watching loads of reviews on the faux filter foundation I bought it, put it on next day before work & I think the foundation is soooo good! Probably the best I've bought, however I didn't realise the primer was in the package until the next day anyway I tried it with the primer and it just made my skin feel so nice and I feel like a bit glowy for some reason but it was nice, I actually had quite dry skin around my nose after I come back from holiday & after 2 days of using the moisturising primer base sample, the dry bits around my nose is now less dry and feels quite soft now and I think both the foundation and primer smells nice. Only thing I feel like is when I apply both I feel a bit heavy and sticky but it goes away after 1/2 hours but it doesn't bother me because I find the foundation doesn't transfer onto my hair and doesn't stick to my phone if I make calls etc... so I love both, will definately be buying full sized primer!

Thick and heavy
1This primer is THICK. I’d compare it to a thick suncream. It also breaks up with the foundation, I had to remove it. It’s greasy and didn’t do anything to my skin other than make it look and feel heavy. I’ve had thick foundations and primers before and this one was possibly the thickest make up product I’ve ever applied to my face.

Over powering and intense
1Huda beauty is one of my favourite make up brands. I am a huge fan of her products, as I own multiples of them. I had high expectations for this complexion perfection and was so excited to try it. I received a sample of it with an order I had purchased. When I applied it, the texture was very thick, greasy and sticky, which put me off slightly. But the major turn off was the smell that was extremely intense and over powering, like a really strong perfume. Within 2 minutes of wearing it I had got a headache so I had to remove the product. Which I was very disappointed about and this means I will not be buying this specific product, but this won't stop me from purchasing her other items. Overall, it is such a shame as I had high hopes for this complexion perfection because I absolutely love Huda's other products, but unfortunately this one does not add up to the standards of her other items.

Love it
5I received a tester of this primer when I purchased my Huda Beauty foundation. It is quite thick which worried me at first - but it goes on lovely. I have noticed the difference from wearing the foundation without the primer and the primer makes it sit so much nicer and for longer. Cant wait for payday so I can buy a full sized one!
