An ode to the outdoors - and the cult perfumes of the 1970s - Synthetic Jungle Eau de Parfum tells a mysterious and provocative story, sparking visions of technicolour greens through its bright and verdant notes.
Inspired by her luscious childhood gardens, this perfume was created by French perfumer Anne Flipo, who used her childhood memories as fuel paint a vivid painting of nature, using nothing but her technical expertise in fragrance and the finest of ingredients. Distilling her recollections and passionate love of nature into this evocative green, floral and woody scent, the result calls on opulent basil, a bouquet of hyacinth with lily of the valley, jasmine and ylang ylang, plus black currant - all balanced by leather notes and patchouli for a streamlined, clean fragrance that smells neither too sweet nor too sharp.
Start by spraying it on your pulse points: behind the ears, wrists, ankles. It will rise in spirals around your body. Then spray a scent halo around your neck, head and hair.

Wasn’t sure initially, now obsessed…!
I bought it as others raved about it. Bought the smaller size as it’s not cheap. Initially wasn’t sure but now it’s already been ordered again and I’ll be getting the larger size. No idea how to describe it, but works for me. Curious about other perfumes in their range and bought the samples that were on CB too. Can’t wait to try them!

Stunning fragrance
An absolute wonder of a fragrance, so unusual you would never place it but alluring and unique. This was the perfect gift for my boyfriend who is a fragrance lover! Always gets compliments when he wears this and worth the money definitely

Best unexpected find
Tried this on a Sali Hughes recommendation this summer, and so glad I did. It smells so fresh, grown up & sexy, without being too heavy to be an evening fragrance. Great staying power, like all Frederick Malle fragrances. Definitely try it, you won’t regret it.

Synthetic Jungle
A spring/summer perfume in my opinion. It smells fresh and slightly ‘wet’ (in a good way). My favourite Fredric Malle is Portrait of a Lady but Synthetic Jungle is a close second. I did find the scent didn’t linger as long as PoaL but I would buy again.
