As Hindu mythology would have it, the amla tree grew from where Brahma's tears hit the earth during meditation. Said to have been the first ever tree to germinate, its berries are rich in vitamin C and a popular Ayurvedic remedy for keeping scalps in tip-top condition.
Delightfully weightless, the SahaScalp Amla Soothing Serum harnesses the power of amla to deeply condition hair and soothe itchy scalps. Bakuchi (extracted from babchi plant seeds) balances the crown chakra and helps to rejuvenate sensitive skin while hydrating and encouraging skin cell regeneration. Aloe then strengthens and nourishes dry scalps, and vitamin E cools itchiness. A root-to-tip nourishing elixir, this serum nourishes hair, clears product build-up from the scalp, softens hair, smooths cuticles, adds shine and protects hair from further breakage - all with a deliciously mindful scent that instils a sense of peace and calm. Think: a chakra-balancing blend of ripe blackcurrant with tea rose and fresh orange blossom on a bed of woody amber and musk.
Part dry hair. Apply a few drops for fine hair, one full dropper for thick hair. Rub between your palms.
Massage into scalp with a focus on your crown to release stress. Focus on dry areas of the scalp.
Follow this ritual bi-weekly; for best results leave in overnight.
For a deeper treatment, massage a generous amount onto scalp, rinse then cleanse.

I use this weekly when I oil alternate with the another fable and mane oil, this soothe my scalp and I love the smell.Â

Another hit from fable & mane
I think I've loved every single product I've tried from fable & mane and this is no exception. I love how lightweight this oil is (even more so than the holiroots oil) and after I use it my hair is left so silky and shiny, I've not used it as long as the holiroots oil so can't comment on the long term effects (e.g increased growth) but will continue to use as I love and trust this brand and hope to see long term results. One thing I don't enjoy so much is the smell (I much prefer the smell of the holiroots oil) but this is easy to look past as it's not unpleasant.

Soooo soothing
Brown girl must-have!!! so soothing and alleviates flaky scalp. I prefer the serum texture for my scalp as it is not too heavy

Good but too expensive
This really does work! I found leaving it and massaging into hair for at least an hour before washing really alleviates some of that scalp itchiness and gives a cooling effect.  It’s effective but it’s really overpriced …

So disappointed
Not sure how effective this is in all honesty for treating my itchy, dry and often flakey scalp....seems like an utter waste of money for the price! Really disappointed :( sadly won't repurchase

A must have!
I first got this as a gift from a friend who said it would help me with my flaky scalp. She was right! It lasts quite a long time but I've just bought my second bottle from Cult Beauty as some friends and I are having a pamper night. It has a beautiful, gentle scent and isn't greasy at all. I love the whole Fable & Mane range. My hair is thin and fine but waist length and I can really tell the difference since using their products.

Amazing
Really nice hair serum! Smells lovely, has a beautiful herbal amla scent to it. Easy to apply, soaks in, doesn't feel greasy. Trying to be consistent to see if it helps hair growth but deffo makes scalp feel so much better
