Celebrating the magic and mystery of synthetic aroma molecules, Escentric 05 blends the signature smooth, creamy quality of Cashmeran – a complex evocation of the cosy, musky properties of cashmere – with notes that work to elevate its many stunning facets.
“I wanted to evoke what it was like to be by the sea” says its creator, Geza Schoen, “but not by using the usual marine notes. Instead I wanted to recreate the experience of being on an island in the Mediterranean” – something he’s accomplished with aplomb. With fresh, zesty top notes of bergamot and orange, conjuring the optimistic scent of orange groves, and a lingering drydown of cistus labdanum and mastic – two classic Mediterranean ingredients – that bring a sweet, leathery, resinous roundness, while fig lends a green, fruity ripeness. Simply spritz to be instantly whisked to Capri.
Apply to pulse points or spritz a cloud and step through it to envelop yourself with a subtle veil of fragrance.

Finally Found the Musk I’ve Been Looking For!
I smelled this on my friend several months ago and have struggled to find it anywhere in the UK outside of Cult Beauty’s website. I have no idea why it’s not more widely available - it’s an absolute musky treat. It has musk-forest top tone with citrus underneath. My only concern is their packaging does not include anything to protect the applicator. Without a lid, I’m also conscious that it could spray / break while in my bag.
