    • Why it's Cult

Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

    Drunk Elephant - Lippe Balm

    Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm Reviews

    I wanted to love it
This lip balm dried my lips, I had to apply other heavier balm over it I loved the packaging, it is really cute. I won't be repurchasing
    It’s GOOD but not GREAT
This is a good lip balm. The texture is nice. The packaging is lovely. I like the size and the fact it’s a larger shape than other lip balms. I appreciate that the lid actually stays on because I cannot count the number of times I’ve found my lid separated from its component and the lip balm covered in whatever was in my bag. I was looking for a lip balm without petroleum in it because it does nothing for the lips and I came across this one. It’s JUST good though. After an hour there’s little to no hydration left. It leaves a strange film on the lips after a while. It’ll do for now but I won’t be running out to buy it again when it’s finished.
    Tastes like candy
I love applying it because it tastes like candy. It is quite moisturising but I am sure there are cheaper alternatives.
    Nice product
There isn’t much product but it’s a nice lip balm that works well. I know it’s expensive but it looks pretty on my vanity along with all my Drunk Elephant products.
    Fave
I love this lip balm! Makes my lips feel hydrated and plump! If you wear matte lipstick a lot this is the perfect investment use it to prime your lips and to re hydrate when you take your makeup off... Yes its expensive but worth the price
    NOT WORTH IT!!!
The lippy itself is nice enough and tastes really good, but doesn't hydrate very well and it gets used up so quickly, in about week I was out! For the price, it's most deffo not worth it!
    Plumps up lips
This is the first lip balm I have tried that really plumps up your lips, without having a tingly scent to it. The only downside is that there really isn't much product in it, so that makes it really expensive for the amount you get.
Underrated - looks simple but works
So this looks a bit basic and it feels as such when first applying - it doesn’t feel luxe - but it grips the lips, stays put and REALLY hydrates. I’m a lip balm fanatic and rarely repurchase but I will keep on buying this.
    Not Worth it.
Cheaper Lip Balms like 'Chapstick' does a better job for fraction of the price.
    Not worth the money
Very light, doesn’t last for more than 2 hours. Save your money and get the Nuxe one in the jar.
    Love this product!
I absolutely love this lip balm it’s fantastic! Really hydrates the lips and leaves them so smooth! I often have to scrub my lips, due to the medication that I’m on, they get very dry, and this makes it so I have no need for scrubbing my lips! The ONLY reason this product loses a star is that I feel for £15 it could have more product in it for the size but highly recommend!!!
    Hype...
A very average lip balm, I'm afraid. Will go back to what I've been using for years and years that cost a fraction of what this balm costs. The packaging is cute, though.
    Great!
The balm itself is great, leaves my lips soft and smooth. The size needs some time to get used to it.
    Love this lip balm!
It’s a very good lip balm, and very rich in so many great ingredients! Very moisturising! Also very cute packaging!
    One of the best
I love this lip balm, on my 4th pack already. It’s so moisturizing, glides so nice on the lips and really prevents chapped lips. Definitely worth the money!
    I’ve had better
The most pleasing part in this product is the amazingly cute packaging (although plastic). Then I quite love it under the eyes when not wearing makeup. As a lip balm, it softens when applied but doesn’t provide lasting hydration to the lips. I like that it has no scent but will not repurchase.
    Not for me...
This is the only DE product I cannot recommend and I feel awful for typing that! I love, love, love DE I pretty much use all of their other products but Lippe made absolutely no difference to my chapped lips. I used it constantly and even repurchased to make sure I gave it a decent try. It smells & tastes nice and I like the packaging but other than that it was pretty much useless :(
    Excellent Lip Balm!
I have sensitive, problematic skin - especially around my lip area; it gets red and irritated very easily, and this balm has helped it calm down. Some days I don't even have to use it for my lips to be okay! I love it, recently ordered my 3rd stick.
Hydrating, smells good & great value for money.
I always seem to have dry lips and as a result I've tried a lot of lip balms over the years. Some more expensive than this one and also more difficult to use - like in tins for instance. This one is really hydrating - I find that I need to apply this less often compared to other balms that I've tried. Also it smells lovely. The tube is a bit wider than normal but if you tilt your lips when applying slightly, then it works out fine. I carry it with me all the time now.
    Thank you , Next
Too wide, hard to apply, why not stay into the regular lip balm shape? But the balm is good, I use before apply lip stick.
    Lips peel off every time!
Unfortunately, Lippe is not right for me! I want to love it, but every single time it makes my lips peeling off badly! It's crazy...I have very, very dry lips, always peeling off and I need emollient ingredients to make them feel soft and nice. My loved ones will continue to be Laneige Sleeping Mask and also Ineesfree Honey Lip Mask.
    Basic
It's literally a basic lip balm, with a expensive price tag.Thank me later.
    Good ingredients list
Не смотря на хороший состав, почему то иссушил губы. Буквально за 2-3 дня пользования губы стали шелушиться. *** Despite the good ingredients, for some reason it dried out the lips. Literally in 2-3 days of using my lips began to peel off.
    Perfect
    Perfect lip balm
    Where’s the product?
£18 for a lip balm?! I expect more product then what’s given.
    Brilliant!
Lovely lip balm, non sticky, stays on. Great packaging and size. Will become a hand bag staple that is for sure!
Exactly what I was looking for
I have struggled to find something that keeps my lips moisturised and stops them becoming dry and chapped. This product not only keeps my lips moisturised but it leaves them looking great. Yes it is expensive for lip balm but it's worth it. I always make sure I have some at hand.
    Underwhelmed.
I like that it's wider than a normal lip balm. But that's it. It does the same as a basic Nivea lip balm.
Brought the colour back to my lips
I bought this lip balm as l have heard several users saying that it brings the colour back to the more mature lips. And having using it I can say it does! My lips look pinker now and l feel that some of the discolouration/brown caused by the sun have faded in the 1 month that I have been using this balm. Also, l feel my lips look slightly fuller and plumper. I am only using it once a day and ensure the balm passes the lip line onto the skin for a larger area of action. I can't say it is the most hydrating lip balm l have ever used but for the healthy colour which it brought to my lips l will defiantly repurchase. Yes, it is not cheap but you know what you invest in!
    OK
I do like this lip balm. But I have others that are more hydrating than this one
    Drunk Elephant
    Very good
    nice
I do like this lip balm. If you feel like having a Boujee Drunk Elephant lip balm. It's thinner and oily rather then thick and creamy so it doesn't feel very occlusive which sometimes I like and sometimes need something more thick and moisturising. It feels like a really small amount and pricy but I do like it, feels really nice, has a nice natural delicate flavour and the packaging is so cute.
    Nice Lip Balm
I really like this lip balm, it doesn't do anything that any other lip balm wouldn't do but, I like using it. I got mine as part of the 'Out of Office' set, so I didn't pay £15 for it, and if I'm honest I probably wouldn't pay £15 just for the balm as it is quite small (this is the reason I've given 4 stars).
    Average!
This lip balm is just like any other lip balm and they do not last overnight. I have used other lip balms for a fraction of the price that was super moisturising.
    Not worth the money
Average lip balm. Not incredibly moisturising or plumping. You can find cheaper items with better results, such as the Nuxe lip balm.
    Lovely lip balm
I really love this product. My lips keep moisturised . Doesn’t have any taste. 5* product.
    LOVE IT!
This lip balm is EVERYTHING you could look for! the texture, the smell, and the effect... It's everything! It does have a kind of sweet taste. It's expensive but definitely worth it! Can't live without. It's a must for your lip care.
    Great product
One of the best lip balms I've used.
    Tastes and smells okay
And that's about all. Ran out of it the quickest of all of the balms I own. Not a long lasting power. Also doesn't do much for your lips after being out in -20C weather. Okay for summer, but really expensive. Not buying again.
    Not bad but not great
I think for the price there is better alternatives. The packaging/ applicator seemed to big in the sense that swiping across the lips was not precise.
Lip balm which makes a difference
Since using this lip balm I can tell the difference. It keeps my lips looking hydrated and is also great for applying before lip stick.
Leaves my lips chapped and in need of a proper lip balm
I wanted to love this so much, however I was greatly disappointed. Firstly, it's an odd shape for a lip balm due to the large surface area which I can see will eventually go to waste as the product gets used. Secondly my lips needed constant re-applying as they were left more dry and sore. Nothing special at all and it’s a mistake spending £15 on it! Been using the Laneige sleeping lip mask - much more hydrating and plumping.
    Perfect for sensitive lips
My skin can't handle fragrance our essential oils like lavender, most 'natural' lipbalms contain fragrance in form of essential oils like lavender. And I also don't like petroleum based lip balms, hence this lip balm is a godsend.
    Dries my lips out
Idk why, but it gives me chapped lips all the time I'm using it.
    Expensive
I basically love it, but if you use it for a month straight you will be done. Amount of product is ridiculous.
    Scam
Yes this lipbalm is perfection but the amount of product you get is borderline offensive
    Good product
It‘s a nice, hydrating lip balm. It‘s a little chubbier than I expected, but I got used to it pretty quickly. It leaves my chronically chapped lips hydrated and smooth, and I even reach for it over my beloved Laneige Lip Mask. That being said, there are lip balms that can do the exact same thing for cheaper.
    very small amount of product
The amount you get is very disappointing
