    • Why it's Cult

Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

Drunk Elephant - Cocomino Glossing Shampoo

Drunk Elephant Cocomino Glossing Shampoo Reviews

    Greasy
The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling really greasy and weighed down. I've used it several times now, the first time I thought maybe I hadn't rinsed out the conditioner enough so I made sure to rinse thoroughly since then but even so my hair is left feeling greasy. My hair feels worse after washing than it did before washing it.
I do really like it.. BUT
I'm a big Davines fan and have used their shampoo for a long time so was super excited to try something new!... I liked how little product you needed (I have mid-length hair) foamed up nicely, liked the consistency. But what I did struggle with was the scent, I have used a lot of the D.E body products and know they all smell like "marzipan" but this has a bad marzipan smell, and was looking forward to washing it out my hair! However, my hair felt amazing after, really soft, clean, and shiny.
    Unexpected
This Shampoo is really good for my greasy scalp, and long fine hair. You only need half the amount you would usually use as it foams up so well on the hair. Immediately felt clean. I have to wash my hair daily otherwise my scalp feels itchy. This smells lovely and I was getting compliments from the husband.
    AMAZING!
I was so excited to try the shampoo and conditioner and it didn't fail to disappoint! It left my hair so soft, my hair didn't feel weighed down at all! I would fully recommend this to anyone!
    GREAT SULPHATE FREE SHAMPOO
Lovely smell (of almonds) nice lather. Very light weight. My hair felt soft and clean after use. Leave a fresh but not overpowering smell to newly washed hair. I would repurchase.
    yaaay
Works great on my hair. I have dark brown curly frizzy hair and this doesn't dry it out but still cleans it and leaves it fresh and moisturized. I used it with the conditioner too. I definitely recommend this product for my hair type :).
    Loved it!
Bought this alongside the conditioner and could not be happier. Left my hair soft and silky. The smell is divine. I would totally recommend buying these.
    Not worth the hype
So-so. They are fine and do the job, but nothing special. Unlikely to repurchase
    Good product
I use in parallel alongside another Shampoo from Rahua. I prefer this one because there is no need to clean my hair twice during the wash process. It hydrates very well, especially damaged ends from blonde hair. My hair looks healthy now, after some washes. I will buy again
    Very good
My hair is soft and curly and dries up quickly after i shampoo it , but This shampoo didn’t leave my hair feeling dry after washing it off , i have been using it for 2 weeks now And my hair is less frizzy .
    not my favorite
I had huge expectations when I heard DE was releasing new hair care products. I got both the shampoo and conditioner. Its fine. You need a lot of product to cleanse. You hair becomes slightly dry on the second day.
    Not it
I'm a huge Drunk Elephant fan, despite the marzipan scent of the body range I really enjoy the body products, but the shampoo I just couldn't get around. It made my hair feel really stripped and not nourished at all. I do have bleached locks so I feel like this maybe isn't the shampoo for me but all in all, I found it really hard to have one winning component!
    Perfect
Perfect shampoo shiny and soft from the first use
    Amazing!
So in love with the combo shampoo and conditioner, left my hair softer than ever, Highly recommended.
    Shampoo and conditioner
I was so excited to try this since reading a lot of articles by beauty bloggers about it and I like the sound of the ingredients. But so disappointed with the results! After washing your hair it feels oily, as if you didn’t rinse out the conditioner properly. You don’t feel any fragrance and my hair feels a mix between dry and oily after using the shampoo and conditioner. Not worth £21 per piece unfortunately
    Nice
Maybe I was too excited ...maybe shampoo can only ever be shampoo. It was nice but not a huge difference to my hair for this kind of price. Wouldn't buy again as it is just not worth it although I love the no cruelty aspect of course - which should be universal in this day and age. Sorry, it's ok but not wow. X
    Best of the best
It's the best shampoo I have ever tried the best of the best!
I really wanted to like it
But....it's just shampoo. Nothing special and you need a lot of product to get your hair clean. I've got thick hair that's quite dry but not delicate and I'm disappointed it's just not for me and I wouldn't buy it again.
    Nothing Special
I bought the shampoo and conditioner after reading all the hype about them. Both are nice and do the job but are nothing special. I consider them to be overpriced and overrated. I will stick to specialist haircare brands in the future.
    Good product
I had Oribe conditioner and mask left in my cupboard as I was using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for a while. I decided to use up Oribe and ordered that shampoo. It is amazing and I'm considering trying out the conditioner and detangler as well. The only downside is that I have to wash my hair twice with it for it to get to my roots (thick hair problem) hence I'm using quite a lot of product along the way, that's why its 4 stars. It cleanses the scalp and hair pretty well and my hair can go without washing for 3 days now instead of 2.
    Amazing.
This shampoo is incredible and has totally eradicated my psoriasis and itchy scalp after only a few uses. Like the conditioner, it's small in size, and you do need a good dollop to lather it on your hair, so it will go really fast, and like the conditioner, it has a really pungent smell, but this does fade. It's an amazing shampoo that does exactly what it says. Delivers insanely shiny and lovely hair .
