A boon for those who struggle with itchy scalps and dandruff, Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Balancing Scalp Serum is a one-stop shop treatment that both balances your scalp and encourages peak hair health.
Starring a specially concocted complex, this treatment harnesses the power of brown and green algae, hyaluronic acid, purslane extract, Japanese camellia and lavender to ease irritation, soothe and reduce redness — all while kicking dryness to the curb. This means less flaking and less itching, with pro-vitamin B5 also working to strengthen each hair shaft with an ‘anti-splitting effect’. But that’s not all — this magical elixir even protects both hair and scalp against heat, pollution particles and UV stress via vitamin-rich sunflower sprouts and tara extract.
Apply the serum directly to a wet or dry scalp and to the ends of the hair using the pipette and gently massage in with the fingertips. Do not wash out!
Use in tandem with the BALANCING SHAMPOO for hair that is velvety-soft, tangle-free, robust and glossy.

Don't recommend
I wouldn't bother with this I didn't feel any improvement in my scalp oils or reduction in itchyness

Cannot do without this
Used for a year now. I love it - my scalp is so sensitive and this just clams it down after each wash. Prevents itchiness and dry scalp too. Love!

Nice hair serum
It's early days still and I think this product will need more time to work. When putting it on I massage in with a scalp brush which seems to help and then it doesn't look oily at the roots if used a bit too much. My scalp feels good for a day or 2 before being quite dry and flaky again I'm going to try applying more frequently but my fine hair is prone to build up. I do recommend it but not at the full price I think that's way too much even though its a nice product it isn't a miracle more a gradual change

Stunning!
This is a glorious serum and very easy to apply even through my thick, curly hair. I find if you have a generally irritated, sensitive or itchy scalp this is perfect post rinse or wash to ensure your scalp stays happy and healthy. For my slightly more problematic scalp with psoriasis, this is lovely and soothing and I will definitely incorporate it into my washing routine to help soothe and calm the skin but won't always help avoid those flare-ups.
