    • How to use
Apply sunscreen liberally before sun exposure. You can use this alone, 5 minutes after applying face cream or mixed with your chosen cream. Applying a diluted mixture of sunscreen and cream will reduce the level of sun protection (i.e. the SPF) indicated. Avoid intensive midday sun. Reapply frequently in order to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming or drying off with a towel. Do not overexpose yourself to the sun, even if you are using sun-screen.

Dr. Barbara Sturm - Sun Drops

Dr. Barbara Sturm Sun Drops Reviews

    Not worth the money...
I found this product to be really thick and quite difficult to blend out, I thought maybe it was just my skin so tried a couple of other products that blended into my skin much better. It works fine as an SPF but I don’t think it’s worth that much, won’t be buying again.
    Best Sunscreen For Sensitive Skin
I suffer from rosacea, so I try to keep my products natural as a lot of additives seem to make me flare up. I hear everyone on the "parabens" front but most sunscreens will send my skin in to a firey red-tizzy! Therefore, this is the best one I've found for good protection without making me look like I've just sat face first in from of a fire :)
    Treatment sunscreen
This is my second bottle of Sun Drops and I initially loved it for its texture. To KMS's point about parabens, not all are created equal, and below certain concentrations, they are not dangerous. Better safe than sorry, sure, but definitely DBS is not your line as it is far from being all natural. I question why there are derivatives of vitamin C in a sunscreen when vitamin C is a treatment and using it actually makes you more prone to sun damage... It's a nice feeling product, and lasts quite a long time, but the price does throw people off. Save about $40 and get the Tatcha sunscreen, it's really the best IMO.
Best sunblock for a sensitive and pale skin
Sun Drops sunblock works great for my sensitive and pale skin. The sunblock does not leave any white residue, makes my skin glow, does not irritate my sensitive skin, and provides a full spectrum of sun protection. One of the reviewers mentioned Sun Drops protects only against UVA, not UVB, rays. It is not true. Dr. Sturm's website expressly states the sunblock protects against both.
    Seriously?
Disappointed to see such a pricey product containing multiple parabens.
    The perfect drops
These drops are truly the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. Having combined skin type most sunscreens make my breakouts worse but this doesn’t.
This is the only SPF to use.
I love the application of this SPF as it has a little pipette no mess free. Also does not leave a white residue nor feel heavy on the skin even though it is a high factor 50.
    The perfect SPF
Never in my life did I think that I would spend so much on a sunscreen. But it is literally the perfect SPF. Leaves your skin plump, gorgeous, and radiant with no white cast whatsoever. RIP my wallet, but totally worth it.
Perfect dewy and doesn't clog pores
Worth the price especially if you love oil and overall non-chemical, cruelty-free/ not tested on animals products. I am a huge fan of the entire range.
    Love it!!
    I love it. ♡♡♡♡♡
    So greasy!
I have combination skin and my nose gets quite oily. This sunscreen is so incredibly greasy I have to start blotting 5 min after finishing my makeup. Without makeup, I am just a grease ball from the moment I put it on until I take it off. I give it two stars because it did not break me out and I did not get burned on vacation, but I'll probably have to use it on my body which is such a shame considering the price.
    love it
Bought a second bottle of it.
    It's sunscreen alright...
It's just sunscreen and quite a greasy one as well. I'm a big fan of Dr. Barbara Sturm but for that price, you're better off buying one of her serums.
    Too greasy
At first I loved this sunscreen, but after 4 uses I broke out on my forehead. I asked my dermatologist and she said it’s too greasy and there are no UVA protection only UVB.
    A top-notch sun serum
This is very different from other sun protection products I've used. It is very thin and lightweight and blends into the skin so easily. It does make the face a little glowy, so perhaps might not be ideal for those who prefer a matte finish. It hasn't made me break out and I haven't gotten burned, so all in all, I'm happy.
    Peau
Totally worth the price. My only other favorite SPF for the face is Tatcha's, which is about $70 and largely available only in the US. I have zero issues with streaking or any other unwanted effects from using the sun drops.
    Just perfect
This is the perfect SPF for a dewy complexion--blends well with cream-based makeup (such as ILIA, RMS, Tata Harper, Vapour) and doesn't leave a white cast.
    Innovative and effective
My first time seeing a sunscreen in a bottle like this! Definitely not your typical kind. I’ve gotten some samples of this. It works really well as it didn’t get me any breakouts/ red patches/ bumps. It didn’t create a white cast on me as well. Furthermore, it was easy to blend out too! Not the cheapest sunscreen though. Get this if you’re able to afford it!
