This was recommended to me by a facialist and I am so glad I took her advice. This is a beautiful product. I actually look forward to washing my face. I have a terribly dry forehead for unbeknownst reasons and this leaves a wonderful softness behind. I feel like it’s way more than a cleanser, it actually feels like it’s soothing and hydrating my skin afterwards. It smells lovely, it feels beautiful on the skin. It’s like a spa treatment in a jar.Â

Lovely
I really enjoy this balm cleanser. It has a natural gentle rose fragrance which I love. I use it as a second cleanse and it’s hydrating and nourishing, perfect for my dry skin. I highly recommend, and I know it’s pricey but it is so worth it. A beautiful treat.Â

My favourite cleansing balm
Well worth the splurge. In my opinion this is the best cleansing balm on the market. The nutrients of the essential oils are really a delight for all your senses. The way this melts into my face is luxurious. This is really an all-rounder, given the effortless way it takes off make-up as well as being a great oil-based balm cleanser when doing your morning double cleanse. Also, at 100ml of product, this is by far the best investment piece in terms of value, when most balm cleansers tend to be around the 50ml mark, yet have a similar price-point.

My spendy favourite
I know this is a tad expensive for a cleanser, however I have no hesitation in constantly reordering this. It’s a wonderful second / skin cleanse (not wasting this on make up) I often apply and leave on for a good while as a nourishing mask. It’s really gorgeous and highly effective.

Nourishing!
This is an extremely rich balm that turns into a beautiful oil that gently breaks down your makeup and SPF. It's extremely nourishing and hydrating for the skin. It leaves my skin feeling so soft, smooth, and radiant. There is no redness in sight, instead it feels calmed and soothed. For me personally the scent is too strong and overwhelming.

Luxurious and effective
The Cleansing Balm from DE MAMIEL company is simply on another level of skin care. The creator of this product has clearly taken into consideration the daily pressures and stresses that women face, and has crafted a product that truly soothes and rejuvenates the skin. The balm has a unique and pleasant scent and effectively removes all dirt, dead cells, and makeup leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed. I have been using this product for a few weeks now, and have noticed a significant improvement in my skin's texture and overall appearance.

A favourite cleansing balm.
I do love this cleansing balm. It's a close favourite with Emma Hardy, it feels maybe a little more "natural" than EH, ie more essential oils and thicker. Can't decide which I prefer more. EH, I think.Â

I wanted to like this but....
Was looking for a gentle cleanser and bought this on the strength of the goodish reviews. A bit disappointed. What I like was the aromatherapeutic scent. Sure, it takes off makeup well (but there are cleansers galore in the market which smell good and which take off makeup). What I didn’t like was the really waxy feeling left on the face after rinsing. Using a cloth is a must. Even then, my skin still doesn’t feel clean. It felt like my pores became clogged with a layer of wax. Works only as a first cleanse for the evening, have to follow with a second, other cleanse for the skin to actually feel properly cleansed. No way will it ever function for me as a morning cleanser. The texture is too heavy. There are much better options out there at this price range.
