Trying to like it.
3De Mamiel is a beautiful brand and I wanted to like this Daily Hydrating Nectar but it gives a strange finish, a kind of dirty colour rather than cover, and it has a gritty texture. The products are all small batch and so it could be something to do with the production. I will persevere but pretty sure I won't re-purchase.Â

Wrong colour for pale skin
4I agree with Ella. The ingredients, smell and application are lovely. But I'm pale skinned and this just makes my skin look dirty. It's about to become an expensive body SPF and won't be repurchased.

Absolutely love this!
5Have already repurchased and use it every single day. I don’t get a scent from it, but love the texture, light tint and baseline SPF protection. Might be my favourite product in the line.

A multi-tasking marvel
5I'm constantly looking for products to streamline my skin care-meets-make up routine and this beautiful product, like everything Annee de Mamiel does, ticks my boxes (and many I hadn't imagined!). With a whisper of tint to help neutralise redness (I'm especially pale so I can't speak for those with a deeper complexion - it could come up ashy on medium-dark skin tones), this lends an incredible 'mewy' effect and the smell... oh la la! And lest we forget the all-important mineral sunscreen, which helps me to feel like I've been a responsible Cult Beauty Staffer and taken a dose of my own beauty medicine ("Always wear sunscreen!"). It's a one-stop nourishing, protecting daily shop and I'm besotted.

Amazing BUT....
4This product is DIVINE, there is no question about it! I LOVE the little book it comes with and the company's natural holistic ethos. I LOVE the focus on natural ingredients that protect and nourish. I love the way it feels and smells, I love the glow it gives my skin, I would definitely buy it again so I couldn't give it less than 4 stars... BUT.... this moisturiser comes in a tinted shade of one colour - a peach colour, which is great if you're white but doesn't make it a very inclusive product! Such a shame from what seemed to be such a great company.

The smell!
1If you are sensitive to smell then you will hate this. It’s so unfortunate. I bought this because of the reviews and at £83 it’s super expensive. The smell is utterly vile :(

great product
5I was drawn to its scent at first. It gives me a good sensation. Its texture is great on my skin. I keep using it as it is also a good moisturiser. I am not sure how effective it is a sunscreen but I am happy with this product.
