I wanted to hate it
I bought this purely on packaging, but goshdarnit its so pretty. It is an easy to wear, cool taupe shimmer with the most beautiful dimension to it.

Beautiful packaging but disappointing product
Hesitated and hesitated whether to spend this much on a single eyeshadow and finally took the plunge - but wished I hadn’t. For me, the quality is just not there. Hoping to use it as a ‘one and done’ eyeshadow and for that, the pigment just isn’t there. I have much better eyeshadows that deliver both cheaper and in the same price bracket. Also don’t like the glittery drop out I get on my cheeks!Â

Grown-up shimmer
This has a very cool toned almost purple look on my eyelids. It blends out beautifully at the edges (as expected for the price) and it has the perfect amount of shimmer. It has lost one star because even though it is gorgeous, it is very expensiveÂ

Roan
I have a couple of the luminescent eyeshadows and Roan is less glittery more pearlescent in formula. It is a gorgeous cinnamon/ginger colour which works well with my light brown eyes, it would work on most eye colours. Lovely gel to powder formula which has good lasting power. Artwork on packaging is amazing, with percentage of profits going to the wild horses.

I have Rhinoceros and Pinto is definitely less glittery and more wearable for everyday. The glitter seems finer and less chunky too. I would describe this as a cool taupe with a hint of pink / lilac in it. It really brings out the green in my hazel eyes. Sublime!

Beautiful eyeshadow
I love this eyeshadow from Chantecaille, it is my first purchase from the brand and I am very impressed. I bought the shade Roan which is a beautiful cinnamon colour. The formula is amazing and just glides on the lids with no effort. The perfect shimmering one and done shade.
