With a lightweight gel-cream consistency, this hardworking serum can be used alone, layered under moisturiser or as a make up base to boost your radiance. The star of the show is, of course, hyaluronic acid. This hero ingredient absorbs and holds moisture in the skin, boosting your natural hydration levels for a plumped up, smoother finish. And of course, as with all CeraVe superheroes, at the core of this cleansing water is a cocktail of three essential ceramides (they're the lipids that essentially act as the 'glue' of your skin barrier ensuring it stays strong). Flooding your skin with these ceramides helps to keep that skin barrier in tip-top health, helping to maintain moisture levels even while cleansing your skin. CeraVe's unique 'MVE Technology' means you get even more from these ceramides; it ensures they're gradually released over time to ensure long-lasting nourishment and hydration. To help calm and balance skin further, you'll also find complexion-soothing vitamin B5.
Apply evenly to your face and neck daily. Can be used alone, layered under moisturiser, and even as a makeup base. If contact with your eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

This is a decent hyaluronic acid but there a definitely better out there on the market albeit for a higher price point so this is good for the price

Dissapointing
I wanted to love this as the cerave moisturiser is so good but found that makeup doesn’t sit very well on top of this serum so it’s best used at night. It does definitely moisture the skin well but doesn’t sit well with a lot of my other products

Reasonable product
Nothing wrong with this product per say. Goes on easily and absorbs well. No stickiness which is great. Do I think it makes any massive difference to my skin? Not particularly. For the money probably worth it if you just need a little hydration boost to your routine.
