Shiny, creamy and very subtle…needs primer and setting spray or it just slides off!  Although it does give lids a nice gunmetal sheen, it’s not as strong a colour as I expected - definitely more daytime than party!

The BLACKSTAR cream eyeshadow sticks are a must have, especially in the shade Bronze Moon. This shade suits everyone and you can give yourself a really pulled together day look my smudging in with your finger in under 30 seconds. To elevate for night time, you just add another scribble to the outer part of your lid and bottom lash line and lend the edges. Effortless, quick but very chic. I have oily eyelids, so powder first, apply the cream eyeshadow and lightly powder over the top to set. Magic.

The best stick eyeshadows

In my opinion these are the best stick eyeshadows, as the colours are stunning (bronze moon is a beautiful neutral/cool bronze) and they don't crease. The longevity is great and they are easy to use. Definitely a pleasure to use.

Beautiful but creases

The shade Ombré Mercure is such a stunning and unique shade. It glided on smoothly and didn’t budge, however, it creased terribly on me within 15 minutes of application. I tried using an eye primer and even setting powder but unfortunately it still creases on me :(

Easy to use and lovely colour

I first bought this years ago and had forgotten of its existence until I was searching for an eye crayon and rediscovered Misty Rock. Whilst this is pricey, I do find the formula to be excellent. The colour pay off is there immediately and it blends beautifully and lasts the day without creasing (I do use urban decay's primer potion). This is a really easy shade to wear and ideal for a quick application as you don't need to blend out a great deal. Big fan.
