So Smooth!

I was surprised by the texture of this primer, it's a lot thicker and creamer than I expected. I would say I find it works better when you use less product. It gently mattifies my skin, but still leaves a radiance showing through. It smooths/blurs my skin and makes my pores look a lot smaller. It's hydrating enough for my oily/combination skin, however, I am not sure it would be enough for someone with very dry skin.

Great option for Oily Skin!

Though this is great for all skin types I saw if you are oily skin and want a non-dewy or glowy finish with a hydrating primer this is THE ONE! It gives a satin, skin-like finish and almost feels a little shine control and just feels like a dense but not heavy cream on the skin.

Gorgeous Primer!

My pores are on the larger side and this primer does a great job at masking these. Leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated. It's a great base for your make up - I love it!

It works, but not amazing

I don't think this would work for someone with more dry skin than me, as the texture is quite dry/rough. But on my oily/combination skin it seems to work. My makeup lasts throughout the night! Definitely better for those who want a matt finish rather than glowy base.

Beautiful primer

I have combination skin and I really love this primer and consider it to be one of the staples in my make up bag. It’s really hydrating but not too much where you feel like your face is sticky. However don’t apply it directly after you’ve applied any creams, oils and gels give as it doesn’t mix well with other creams and wait a few minutes for your skincare to settle into your skin then apply it.

Didn’t work for me

Usually, I’m a fan of the By Terry range but I’m afraid I just didn’t get along with this primer. Once applied it appears to set in patches instead of creating a uniform base. I’ve tried applying different moisturisers beforehand but it didn’t seem to make a difference. In addition, it didn’t appear to have a hydrating effect either.
