Not quite as good as it used to be
This has always been my go to gradual tanner, however I’ve noticed a few things different this year so not sure if the formula has changed. Firstly the smell is much more similar to a standard fake tan (used to smell like coconut) and secondly the colour even after one application seems a little darker (probably good news for some people, as someone who is super pale I preferred it before). Having said that, still a really nice and easy to use product that does what it says on the tinÂ

Favourite self tanner
Repeat purchase! Lovely even finish, nice smell and is a natural looking, buildable tan. I am acne prone on my shoulders/chest/neck/back and this doesn’t break me out, but I only use it once or twice a week. I use a mitt to apply it and it lasts for around 5 days. Doesn’t transfer onto bedding or sheets unless it’s really hot and I’m a bit sweaty!Â

Loving this gradual tanning milk. So far no streaks or patches and it has a nice golden glow. I apply lightly as I don’t want the colour to look too dark - I am fair/mid skin tone.

Not as gradual as I was expecting, but still good
I decided to get a gradual tanner as the UK summer has been awful this year, and I seem to be working on all of the actual sunny days. I chose this one specifically as I know the brand and wanted one that also be a good moisturiser. I have used it a couple of times and will definitely continue to use it once a week, but it doesn't need more applications than that (in my opinion). I tend to apply it at night, giving it about 10 minutes to dry before I sleep, and in the morning it develops into a lovely glow. I wouldn't call it a gradual tan though, compared to others I have used. It's still a lovely tan though and feels good on my skin without too much of that fake tan smell. I did make the mistake of just wiping my hands with a towel the first time I used it, which led to orange palms, so definitely follow the instructions. I would buy this again, and do recommend this if you want to top up your tan. The tan fades within a week and fades in a nice way that doesn't seem patchy, and doesn't leave streaks on my white bed sheets which is always a plus. I also recommend exfoliating before use as it's a very thick cream and did give me a couple of spots on my back and arms.

Good for short term use
Good gradual tanner, I applied on top of a spray tan to maintain. I did slap it on very generously and ended up with some marks in the usual places. I think a smaller amount would have been better. Does have a bit of a biscuit smell if you use loads like me. For a couple days use it is great though, a nice colour and soaks in nicely too.Â
