Formulated with innovative anti-green stain (if you know you know) technology, this gentle mask-like cleanser refreshes lengths while helping to fade out-of-place warm tones and maintain your style. Shaking up your look and skipping the salon appointment, all without making a colour commitment, this clever formula grants a slate grey sheen that's perfect for topping up the coverage of already toned hair (on light blonde lengths gradual build up is key!). As if all that wasn't enough, the collection is completely cruelty-free and vegan – like all of BLEACH's products – so you can feel caring as well as über-cool.
Lather well into wet hair and massage through to ends. Leave in for 5-10 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

Can stain skin, nails, bathroom tiles and grouting. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into eyes, rinse with water immediately. Avoid contact with clothing and towels.

not for me
smoky shampoo and conditioner has been out of stock for a while so i opted for this one. this is for those who want darker hair tones (blue/lavender) but i still prefer my light lavender/blue hair

Shampoo gives better tone for my hair, because it has much more pigment. Do love the scent though.

Blown away by this honestly!! I wasn’t expecting a shampoo could literally dye my hair. My first test I did on a bleach blonde streak in my hair and it made it dark grey first time round! Since then I’ve bleached my whole head and I used a permanent grey dye (colour freedom metallic glory in graphite) it was great but I still had some warm tones as I had previously had a semi permanent black in my hair so was really hard to get grey. I originally got this just thinking it would be good for upkeep but it’s also toned the leftover warmth I had and added more depth making my hair look healthier and colour look way better, thrilled! Honestly seems nice and conditioning for a shampoo too imo, only thing is it makes my hands look like I’ve been doing charcoal drawings, which I’m not bothered by, well worth it!

Love it
Decided to try it without any expectations. And fell in love. It really works. (My hair are not totally bleached - I have air-touch, about 35% are bleached). I’m not sure if it would work without a “fade to grey” conditioner, because I used them together. Colour is not exactly like the picture shows, not dark-grey-violet, it looks more natural.

Weird consistency, not very potent
I found the product is a bit hard to spread. It says on the bottle that best results require colour laydown before hand, and I agree with that. It's okay for upkeeping grey hair. The hue is a beautiful warm mink grey.

Fade to grey shampoo..RESULT
Bought this shampoo & conditioner and was a bit hesitant in spending a lot of money on hair products as l normally don't spend a lot on shampoo these days, my hair is now grey and to be honest rather bland, the shampoo is the most gorgeous colour of slate grey with a hint of mink..it also doesn't mark your towels or clothing. l wear it as a hair mask for 10 mins before my shower and the results are outstanding..l have only used it twice and there is a marked difference already..with both the shampoo and the conditioner you only use a small amount so l can see both these products lasting a very long time..money well spent in my opinion.

Brilliant Shampoo
I’m transitioning back from dark hair to my natural grey that emerged in my early 20’s so I needed something to blend in the new root growth. I’d never heard of this shampoo but gave it a go and so glad I did. I used it as a normal shampoo but didn’t see much colour change. I now apply it to almost fully dried hair, comb it through and blow dry and it leaves a gorgeous slate grey tone to my hair and doesn’t irritate at all. Obviously it washes out so I just reapply it. This will be the product that gets me through the next 12 months of transitioning and beyond. Super quick delivery from Cult Beauty too. I’ll definitely be buying more once it starts running low although it lasts ages!!
