gorgeous woody fragrance
This was my first Bella Freud candle and I love it, the cedar wood really comes through. Also there's a nice black, ceramic lid that comes with it which I loved and looks very chic. The only thing I'd change is that I like to see the glow through my candle jars, which isn't possible with this vessel.

Woody and chic
This smells like a gentleman's study, fine aftershaves pencil shavings....which I'm loving. I'm not one for overly floral or sweet smells this is a refreshing change I just love it, I'd buy again for sure.

THE best.
I love this candle (I’ve returned to buy this for the fourth time). It’s probably more suited to someone who prefers a deeper, musky scent rather than a flora, sweet one.

It’s more of a subtle scent than the 1970 candle (which is simply divine), but I love the wee lion logo on the candle! They burn really well and the smell is lush! Lovely box too so they make great presents!
