The shampoo is great for making your hair feel so clean - leaves a slight tingling sensation on the scalp. Only giving 4 stars as with my other shampoo I can wait a week between washes but with this one after about 4/5 days I’ll need to wash my hair again.

Helps but doesn’t cure
I had high expectations as I’ve heard amazing things about this shampoo. It definitely helps with dry scalp/dandruff/psoriasis but it didn’t help as much as I hoped it would. Different things work for different people though! It’s got a pleasant smell, feels nice and fresh on your scalp and def leaves hair feeling clean but not completely stripped which is greatÂ

Dirty hair
I had high hopes for this shampoo but my hair has never been worse. It leaves my hair dirty, greasy and my scalp itchy. At this price point I'm actually angry for wasting my money.

Perfect for itchy scalp and oily hair
I’m a fan of Aveda and have used products from the botanical range before which didn’t quite work for me, but this one ticks all of my boxes. Lathers really well, smells really nice, and leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped. Scalp feels soothed and my itchiness has gone down considerably. I used to wash my hair every other day, but I can now get away with an extra day in between washes, much more convenient for my schedule.

Make this part of your routine
I'm the first to admit i've never really thought about taking care of the scalp. I've always brought products for moisture/non frizz etc as I have A ALOT of curly hair. Those products as they are very rich, oily and heavy had started to irritate and I felt my scalp likely didnt look great under all the hair. First thing with this shampoo is the scent- I loved it. Its got a real tea tree scent where you know its working more on your skin. I leave mine on for a while before rinsing to get full benefit. And I have definitely noticed an improvement in scalp comfort. Only downsize is its quite a lot for a shampoo, then again you would easily spend that on a skin product for the face
