There's nothing like the sun sticking its head out for us to forget all about our (usually rigorous) hair care standards, that's why the minds behind Aveda crafted this Sun Care After-Sun Hair Masque: an intensive cream treatment that makes up for hours spent bathing in the light by flooding your strands with deeply moisturising oils and a medley of effective antioxidants.
Suitable for all hair types and textures, this restorative treatment restores sun-exposed hair with a cocktail of hydrating and protective natural ingredients. It's powered by the likes of tamanu oil, certified organic coconut oil and shea butter, as well as palm oils to deliver a wave of shine-boosting hydration. Most importantly, the brand's morikue™ protein actually works to restore weakened locks, while a blend of antioxidants - namely green tea extract, certified organic sunflower seed oil and vitamin E - help to shield against the damaging effects of free radicals. The finishing touch is its light tropical aroma that sparks from infusions of 100% certified organic essences of neroli, ylang ylang and citrus - just inhale and imagine you're on a beach somewhere...
Use after shampooing with Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser. Apply evenly to damp hair, roots to ends. Leave in 2-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Use weekly or whenever hair is exposed to sun, salt and chlorine.

Does the job!
This product definitely did what it said on the bottle, left my hair feeling silky and cared for while I was on holiday, however, it did only last about 4 washes and I’ve got medium thickness and medium length hair

Holiday Must-Have
I have fine, sad, curly colour treated hair which hates holidays. I’ve had all manner of mishaps with my hair in the sun, but mainly I have issues with my colour (dark brown, but naturally blonde) being bleached out of my hair leaving me with a Colour so non descript that I honestly couldn’t tell you what it was. I’ve brought this product to Mexico where it is 33 degrees, screaming hot and not a cloud in the sky and my hair somehow looks better than when I arrived. It also gives it some volume and helps my curls be more defined. My hair is the same colour as when I left home, really shiny and in nice condition, and I have this product to thank!
