Formulated to treat skin while it hydrates, the lightweight pore-refining lotion keeps your face feeling comfortable, while tackling spots and minor imperfections. The glycolic acid loosens the bonds that hold dead cells to the skin, whilst drawing out embedded impurities, then vitamin E and green tea unite to protect from environmental aggressors.
With 10% glycolic acid to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, Alpha-H's Balancing Moisturiser & Gentle Exfoliant is perfect for those with oilier, blemish-prone skins. This light lotion keeps skin hydrated whilst balancing sebum production and tackling blemishes, to leave you with a clearer, spot-free complexion. Apply a small amount of Balancing Moisturiser and Gentle Exfoliant each morning and evening to the face, neck and décolletage. Your skin will tingle momentarily. This moisturiser leaves a matt finish and is an excellent base for make-up. Be sure to follow with your fave SPF.

Tamed my breakouts
I've been using the Clear Skin Hydrator Gel for a few years but recently it didn't seem to be working as well as it used to on my oily prone skin. I'm a fan of the Alpha-H products and decided to try the Balancing Moisturiser instead and so glad I did! It's only been a few weeks and the breakouts on my chin have calmed down. It does a good job with resurfacing the skin too, albeit slowly, as I've noticed a few fine bumps under the skin on my forehead and cheeks have started to disappear. Keen to see if it can reduce and keep away the blocked pores around my nose over the next few months.

My favourite daytime moisturiser!
I bought this as a first time Alpha H purchase along with liquid gold, their toner and triple action face wash. I have since seen a noticeable difference with significantly reduced frequency of spots, reduced pore size, less noticeable hyperpigmentation and generally much healthier looking skin. I now realise how dull my skin looked before! This is currently my favourite ever daytime moisturiser, just the right balance between moisture and ensuring I don't get too oily! I love that it treating my skin too. Great smell and fab consistency (I hate thick day creams, this is hard to describe..... lightweight but not runny or thin!). Didn't break me out or cause irritation, love it!

Meh
It caused me some break outs here and there that are difficult to get rid off (Alcohol and menthol may be the issue), but it did regulate my oiliness for a few hours!

Great for oily skin
The Balancing Moisturizer stands out to me as I can use it daily without putting my skin under too much stress while getting a constantly good result. (I have also used Liquid Gold by Alpha H and I have found that I can overuse it and my skin gets too sensitive which is annoying. I prefer a daily routine rather than an every now and then product). The product is lightweight and comfortable on the skin, a good base for makeup and most importantly keeps my skin pretty clear. I have a combination skin and only apply this moisturizer in the T-zone and switch to a richer moisturizer for the cheeks & eye area. I like the packaging and have not had any issues with the pump getting clogged. Also I really appreciate that the top part screws off which allows me to use up every last drop of the product. I will definitely repurchase this product.

BEST MOISTURISER FOR OILY SKIN
This is a fantastic product. I have oily skin, suffer from breakouts and pores and little bumps under the surface of my skin. I have been using this for over a week and can see a much clearer brighter complexion. I wasn't sure if it would work but it is mattifying (whilst retaining a healthy glow) and doesn't leave a greasy film. Skin feels matte. Love the cooling menthol effect and the unique pump delivery system.

Very nice
This is very nice. Minty, gentle on the skin. Leaves it glowing and healthy and provides a nice result overtime. I would not use it as a daily moisturizer though because I live in a very sunny climate. I use it twice a week when indoors.

For ever re-purchase
I have oily/combination skin and this product has definitely helped to re-set my skin during the night after a work day. No oiliness to be seen anymore, my pores are visibly reduced thus no dark heads around. The tingling sensation is pleasurable and the skin feels soft and flexible afterwards. Definitely recommend to anyone out there with enlarged pores or black-heads problems.

Menthol
Often I do not check ingredient list when purchasing products and so I was VERY surprised about the cooling sensation on my skin when I first used it. I am guessing it is from menthol. Packaging - NOT a jar, it is a pump as a reviewer has mentioned previously. I had product all over the place when I pushed the pump down too quickly. Overall, I have no issues with the packaging. Product - white lightweight cream. Tingled on application but it is not painful. Absorbs easily and does not leave a tacky or uncomfortable feeling. I apply another layer of moisturiser over this product because this feels more like a treatment than a moisturiser. Three stars - 3.5 is not an option here. This product together with the Beauty Sleep Power Peel have annihilated ongoing breakouts I had from some other products I was using. However, I can't make up my mind about menthol. It this necessary? I might say yes if I was living in the tropics.
