Made by American singer and songwriter Halsey, about-face is an incredibly high-performance line of ‘make up without rules’, working to empower self-expression via its vegan and cruelty-free formulas. If, like us, you’re always on the hunt for a multitasking make up collection staple, look no further than about-face’s Matte Fix Spray which not only primes skin for a flawless base application, but also helps to set it all in place too.
Housed in a chic, all-black bottle, this fine spray is best applied using the brand’s Blend Tool; simply mist onto the sponge and press into skin or over the top of make up to lock it in all day long. A conditioning blend of humectants will lock in moisture, balancing oil control and preventing you from becoming crack-an-egg-on-your-forehead shiny by lunch — while the formula is infused with a cleverly mattifying powder that blurs the appearance of pores, blemishes and fine lines for a fabulously flawless finish.
Use before makeup to prep skin, or after to set your look. For best results, don’t spray directly onto skin.
Step 1: Vigorously shake to mix the special blurring powders.
Step 2: Spray on Blend Tool (or your favourite make up sponge) and gently tap onto skin.

i’m a fan!
i have a ton of makeup from aboutface and absolutely adore the brand so i finally decided to try this out! the packaging is adorable and it has a really nice mist! my only issues with it is that i would really recommend spraying directly onto your face as it leaves little white marks all over the face (and on my clothes) and so would recommend using it from a sponge like is recommended, i’ve tried with both the aboutface sponge and a colourpop sponge with the former working the best for me is just a shame you can’t really get your hands on them anymore! definitely works by making the face matte just have to be mindful on how you apply

Keeps face in place!
Love this. The bottle / spray is easy to use. I have combination skin and tend to get oily t-zone which is where the make up decides to move. This spray is a godsend.

It's a really great product, make up looks an amazing for all day, you can even cry and nobody will notice anything on you face because make up is untouched.
