Westman Atelier - Lit Up Highlight Stick

Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick Reviews

    Unreal Glass Skin
In my opinion, this might perhaps be the best highlighter that we stock! I first tried this in the states three years ago in the original 'Lit' shade. It was perfect, except the colour was a little ultraviolettey/blue which I wasn't the biggest fan of. I was thrilled when they brought out more shade variants and immediately purchased 'Nectar'.
    Glowy Perfection
I haven’t tried a WA product which I haven’t loved - I bought the Lit shade and it is very good, but I recently purchased Brûlée which is a stand-out favourite. I have very pale skin and saw Gucci use it across the cheekbone almost as a blush, so I thought I’d give it a go. It gives such a natural, glowy, soft bronze to my skin and it just makes it look so healthy. If I’m being lazy I’ll pop it on my eyes and lips and instantly look polished and healthy with minimal effort. A little goes a long way and definitely worth the price tag!
    Wet dream
I have the shade Brûlée...the packaging in gold is spectacular, the look on the face is a sophisticated wet look with a very slight golden tan pigment. Reviews said it’s going to be a sticky mess on your face...I didn’t find any tackiness. Instead, skin just looks plump and juicy. Pair this with poppet to really make that bright pink shade pop
    Absolute HG
I am very pale and this still is the perfect highlight for my skin. It applies seamlessly and leaves a beautiful glow. My skin looks healthy and natural and this highlight does the perfect job. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone that is looking for the natural look
    Beautiful
I bought Lit and Nectar and they are both lovely to use - subtle effect, elegant packaging, a really special treat to myself!
Nice Glass Skin Glow - Shade Nectar
I wasn't that in love when I first tried it on the back of my hand and was a bit worried it was going to be too glittery. However, applied a couple of times on the cheekbones and gave a lovely glass skin shine and didn't feel too tacky on the skin. I can't fault it but just not overly in love with it on myself but I'm not a big makeup wearer, but would definitely recommend it for people looking for that glass skin glow.
    Worth it
Expensive but worth it. It has such a great finish on the skin, no sparkle just a dewy glow.
    GLASS SKIN! Love it!
I love dewy skin and this highlighter is perfect for that! I have Lit and it gives the most amazing glass glow! I absolutely love it! I will be buying the other shades, as I love this product.
    Dewy goodness
Highlighter is my 'thing' with makeup, I will not apply makeup without it. This leaves a beautiful finish and looks just like a 'glass skin'. I wish this came in different undertones, as I find the blue tone quite niche. This with a rose gold/golden undertone would be absolutely to die for, and my ideal highlighter! Slightly tacky finish to it, but this absorbs in and just looks so gorgeous and dewy!
    Glass skin
It gives me a real glass skin but not too overpowering. It’s similar to the luminizer from RMS beauty. However, this one gives me much nicer look on my Asian yellow skin tone and it’s not wet like the one from RMS. Definitely will repurchase it.
    Nectar
This has more of a wet glossy effect with a hint of champagne iridescence! I feel like you need to use quite a bit each time and there isn't a ton of product to begin with given the price. That being said... It's a nice product but wouldn't repurchase...
Lit is ideal for very fair skin tones
Got the shade Lit, even before they launched the other shades. It’s an iridescent highlighter with a hint of blue and purple that might not look great on everyone. I have very fair skin so it looks great. I also love applying it as a serum, below my foundation and it gives the most beautiful glow.
    Beautiful but pricy
Totally beautiful item but definitely paying for the packaging.... not a lot of product for your money.
    Beautiful
I bought Lit and Nectar and they are both lovely - subtle effect, elegant packaging and a perfect treat to myself!
    Fantastic
I'm one of those women who suit/prefer a mostly soft matte look because of their skintone - and even when I was younger than my early 40s, shimmer and glitter never looked good on me - especially on the eyes, as I have narrow/slightly angled ones w/small single folds, being half-Japanese. So this isn't something I use on the face, but on the lids! And it is fantastic - it gives me the extra I want, but still looks elegant and suitable as a day look on its own as much as night, with eyeliner. I have pale skin (between NW10/NW15) and I use Brulee, which is a sheer bronze. There is a slight shimmer in the stick, but on my lids it translates as an elegant gloss (as opposed to the Minette blush stick whose shimmer seems to deposit unevenly, although not enough for me to really be bothered). The reviewer who said it pulls a bit purple isn't wrong, but on me I find it's a warm undertone that just gives the bronze a bit of multidimensionality. Definitely getting Nectar as well.
    Elegant highlighter
I absolutely love how this highlighter gives me the most sophisticated glow without being overly metallic and unflattering. This multipurpose stick can be layered under the Vital Stick foundation acting as a primer but having combination-oily skin it doesn't hold up the best during the day. That being said I can apply it on top of my foundation and and it doesn't disturb or lift any product and gives the most amazing healthy glow. The opalescent shift is more flattering on light to neutral and cool toned skin tones. I'll probably buy Nectar when it's back in stock.
    Purple undertone
I love a good highlight and dewy finish, so I was super excited to try this. The texture of this product worked well on my combination skin, however, it does leave the skin feeling slightly tacky, therefore, if you have an oily skin type this wouldn’t be the product for you. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the shade. It has a purple undertone which I didn’t love on my (fair) skin tone. If you like a more interesting highlight that really stands out then you would like this, however, I prefer more of a golden shade for every day. Overall, it is a nice product with gorgeous packaging, but unfortunately, I just wasn’t a fan of the undertone.
    Grown up highlight
Love this product, it gives your skin a sheen rather than any sparkle but makes it look healthier and dewier. I don't really wear highlighter but find myself reaching for this quite a lot. You can wear it under or over foundation or on naked skin for a glowy look. I tend to rub the stick over my fingers and pat on that way. In my humble opinion this gives your skin a glowy, slightly expensive look... no complaints there then!
    Totally gorgeous
I love highlighters and this is quite a standout from the rest of the ones I've come across. It has a beautiful pearlescent sheen that works will all blush colours. The texture is creamy and feels lush going on. Beautiful in conjunction with Baby Cheeks.
