Don’t be perturbed by the irritation often associated with acid use – The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% contains purified Tasmanian pepperberry to reduce signs of inflammation and soothe the sensitivity sometimes caused by exfoliation. Also enhanced with heroic hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid, this super-charged serum strengthens the lipid barrier to improve the skin’s ability to attract and retain moisture.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. Oily/combo skin Using for acne scarring Didn't break out, and as someone used to retinoids and AHA/BHAs, makes a for a sensitive exfoliant that hydrates. Used in mornings, good for pH balancing.

AHA virgin who now uses it daily!
This is amazing!!! My skin is GLOWING  every morning after I use this. I initially started using this 6 months ago and started slowly, just twice a week and I would always feel the tingle. I used three drops, max! Now I have increased it to nightly and use about 4 drops but a little really does go a long way. Make sure your face is dry before applying and make it the first thing you put on then continue with your routine. You will not be disappointed and I am convinced that my skin isn’t as dry because of this.Â

Brilliant
When my foundation was beginning to look cakey I watched a you tube video that suggested regular exfoliation to get rid of the issue. My skin can’t handle glycolic acid so I purchased this lactic acid and use it daily in the morning - no more cakey makeup and my skin is brighter too.Â

Great for sensitive skin
I can be quite sensitive and it does burn or anything. Because it’s not as harsh it doesn’t seem to make as much of a difference with acne as some other acids but it’s non drying which is great.Â
