Prep skin with moisturiser then use fingers to pat foundation into the skin, layering in areas where you want more coverage. Try to work with a few foundation shades on your hand to mimic the tone variations of real skin.

A bit disappointed
First off, I love the packaging and the magnetic lid is incredibly satisfying! I find myself using this more for touch ups later on in the day on top of my regular foundation in areas where the coverage has faded. I find the formula to be lightweight and comfortable on my skin when used as above, I have combination skin and have found that this doesn’t tend to work well for me as an all-over foundation - which is a shame given the high price point!

Wonderful!
Having never used a stick foundation before I was a little skeptical. But this is sooo creamy, it just glides along the skin and blends wonderfully with either a brush or dry sponge. It lasts wonderfully too, especially with a little powder over the top. Westman Atelier is my new favourite brand!!

What a difference!
This foundation was recommanded to me by a friend but it took me some months to place the order. I found the price just too high but after I realized I already spend lots of money on different foundations that just weren't satifying, I decided to take a leap of faith and I haven't regretted it. This foundation unifies your skin without the mask-like effect. It leaves you with a healthy, natural glow and it's very easy to put on with a good make-up brush, even when you're not a make-up artist ;) It doesn't cause break outs, doesn't dry out your skin. Definitely worth it's price!

Best stick foundation
I purchase the shade VI as I thought this would be a great summer shade and it is absolutely perfect. I only need a small amount but it blends in beautifully using the tips of my fingers. I really don’t think you need to use a foundation brush or a beauty blender at all.

Best blush ever
I have always loved a cream blush but found it really hard to find the right peach for my complexion. I found it in Minette. It blends in beautifully and doubles up as a lip tint too. I then purchased other products in the range and I love them. Thanks to Cult Beauty for stocking this range. I hope they will get the pressed powders in soon as I am eager to try them.

Lovely light coverage but...
This is so convenient to throw into your bag for touch ups during the day/night... And you WILL need to touch it up as it doesn't last long, even under setting powder. The shades are good but could be better and the consistency is a bit Oily. A bit expensive for what it is and there are a few stick foundations out there that perform better.

Very Disappointing
I bought this because of the rave reviews and I was really excited to try it. I’ve watched Gucci’s tutorials on YouTube on how to use it and it always looks great on her models. However, I think it is just awful - probably the worst foundation I have ever used. This just sits in the pores around my nose. I couldn’t get it to “melt” or to blend. I tried several times using fingers, brushes and a beauty blender. The price is exorbitant for what it is and to top it all off the foundation fell out of the case when I turned it over. A very expensive mistake.

Foundation Heaven
I bought this having read some of the reviews. I totally agree it does not sit in my laughter lines- I am 42 years young. It glides on effortlessly and blends amazingly with fingers. It really is an amazing foundation. Beautiful packaging.

Amazing luxe product
The colour and texture of this product is excellent. It melts seamlessly into the skin and feels moisturising and lightweight while doing so. The finish is medium and luminous and makes skin look healthy. It probably works best for dry to normal skin as it might be a bit too luminous for oily skin types. My only criticism is that for the price this should be a refillable product as it seems so wasteful to not reuse such high quality packaging. I intend to let Westman Atelier know because they say that they offer clean beauty, so the packaging should also reflect that ethos.
