Subtle glow
This is a lovely highlighter and really easy to use if you want to do your makeup quickly. It gives a subtle but beautiful glass skin glow. It doesn't highlight my skin texture, which is great for me as I'm 40 and my skin has become more textured over time. I've got the Charlotte Tilbury blush with the highlighter middle and that shows up my skin texture a lot so this is vastly different. I love that it's good for your skin too and didn't irritate my sensitive skin. My only issue is that it has teeny little sparkly bits in it, like mica, which I wasn't expecting. I can't complain though because I got a decent size one in the Cult Beauty makeup cracker so it was a bargain. I got the peachy shade, which would probably look even more amazing on mid toned skin, I have a light skin tone.

Beautiful Glow
I got a deluxe size of this highlighter stick in ‘Nectar’ and gosh it’s beautiful! It’s not a typical glittery highlighter - it’s not sparkly or glittery, it’s almost like a wet sheen. It feels a little tacky on the face but not overly sticky. Quite unlike other highlighters I have at the moment, but reminds me a lot of the Haloscope from Glossier that I loved a few years ago. Really lovely product, not for everyone, but is really nice if you like this type of product!

Nectar is amazing
I already had Lit, which can be a bit much on my light neutral-warm skintone (it reads very purple/blue on me, I think Gucci has much cooler toned pale skin than me!). Nectar though is amazing - it doesn’t look like highlighter, it literally does look like I’ve just had a facial, it gives this warm peachy dewy glow. Isn’t particularly long lasting but honestly who is bothered by whipping out a Westman Atelier stick to retouch?
