Offering gentle yet effective exfoliation with 10% lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid), this lightweight serum reduces pigmentation, minimises fine lines and wrinkles and improves overall skin texture. It's also bursting with Tasmanian pepperberry to reduce signs of inflammation and soothe any redness sometimes caused by exfoliation. Oh, and there's more... it's enhanced with nourishing hyaluronic acid to not only lock in moisture, but retain it too.

Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. Honestly, amazing.
I have acne prone, combination skin, with a very oily T-zone, and dry cheeks. (Absolute nightmare!!!). But this product and the Niancinimide+Zinc honestly saved my life. I was having really bad and very-painful acne all over my cheeks and chin from a few other products I had been using - and they were appearing every other day! But after I bought these 2 products I began seeing changes in DAYS. I use the Niancinimide every morning before my gel moisturiser, and the Lactic Acid every other night (because it is a bit drying) for the last 2 weeks and they've made the biggest difference!!! Honestly, I don't know how I lived without them. They're fragrance free, colour free and so light on the skin, it feels like you have nothing on! Honestly, I highly highly recommend for anyone who struggles with acne. I'm so excited to try their other products, and be able to stop wearing makeup this summer!!! xx

Did nothing, smells bad
I did not like this one. I went through the whole bottle and it did nothing to my skin, felt quite sticky, smelled unpleasant. I give it two stars instead of one only because it seems to work for other people.

It did wonders
I started using this after being 6 months on azaleic acid cream treatment from my dermatologist. Azaleic acid treatment worked slowly, but after using it with lactic acid it immensely improved my skin in just one week. I use it everyday in my nighttime routine. My skin was already accustomed of acids so I didn't feel any tingling.

The first product that has worked!
I’ve been having breakouts on my skin as well as small white bumps on my forehead and this is the first product that has truly worked. I’m currently only on day 3, my breakout has cleared and I’m just waiting for the redness of the site of the breakout to go down. Amazing.

Exfoliates, hydrated and brightens!
This is by far the best serum out of The Ordinary range! This serum hydrates your skin and will have it looking really dewy & smooth the next morning. It does have a slight tingle to it when you apply it but it subsides after a couple of minutes. It really helped get rid of my dark spots and uneven skin.

Best exfoliator
I have been using this for around 10 days and I use it on alternative days with Vitamin C on the night and my skin has become soft and shiny I have few bumps on my chin they are also gone.There were clogged pores on the side of my nose that are also looking a lot better. Much better than high-end brands that do not even work.
