Good but a bit greasy
A good percentage of retinoid for the price, I still swear by the Ordinary for affordability and no-nonsense genuine results. I find the squalane solution gives this serum a bit of a greasy texture for my already oily skin, but if using at night (as you should) then that shouldn't be an issue. It's also better for if you have sensitive skin or skin that's prone to drying out, as it helps counteract the drying/peeling effect that retinol can have. I prefer a blend of active ingredients so I don't have to layer (e.g. with niacinamide and peptides) but if you're happy to layer or just want your retinol simple and easy then this is the product for you.
