Glycolic acid for maskne

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Best thing ever!! Highly recommended! The only thing that seems to be taming my maskne! I've tried vitamin C, retinol, washes, serums, masks, homemade masks.. absolutely nothing works for my acne (or maskne as before masks I did not have acne) apart from this! Use it every day in the evening after cleansing and its not even been a week yet but it has definitely done wonders in calming my skin and the angry maskne that has taken over my cheeks. Note - slight dryness around the mouth area and upper lip but nothing a moisturiser wouldn't be able to fix (or just avoid that area)

Didn't get

The lotion leaves my skin oily and sticky, uncomfortable. I even thought my skin doesn't like glycolic acid. But some other products with it are much more comfortable for me.

Fabulous... if you can get it!

Feeling sad...This was the best toner ever. Not Sticky, not oily, no residue. I say' was' because it is like Gold dust. I live in Greece and expect delays in supply and so I try to order from the UK but waiting for it to be in stock is like waiting for Christmas on Jan 1st. Really, guys, this toner is fab and I don't need anything else but this product. It refines pores, skin glows, combats oil and dryness. Yes, I love it but I can't wait any longer and I'm going to have to look for another brand.

best toner!

I have suffered from acne for more than 20 years now. Perhaps it became worse when I started to wear make-up on a daily basis just to cover those bad boys. This toner actually helped to minimise the poles. There is still some work to do but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... Thanks, Ordinary!

I have acne skin and I have used it daily. It has helped me in reducing my acne and acne spots. I will recommend acne prone skin people buy it.

Hero product!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have oily skin but was having a problem with texture and dryness in my t-zone. I bought this to try and fix the problem and overnight I saw results! My skin looks glowing, the texture is gone and I never get dry skin anymore. For those worried about using acids on their skin, this is super gentle. Would fully recommend!

Staple in the skincare bag

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Glycolic acid really is a great staple to have in the skincare bag mix because it is a wonderful chemical exfoliant. This product is fantastic to upkeep progress on acne reduction and encourages skin cell regeneration if you have hyperpigmentation so I certainly would recommend for occasional and light usage but it is quite a large container but finishes before the product expiration date if you apply on your neck and chest as you are expected to as part of your skincare routine. Just remember that sunscreen is a big must with this product because the burns will definitely reverse any and all progress made. Works especially well on men's skin (which tends to be oilier and thicker so can withstand a little bit more of a kick). Skin type: acne/blemish-prone, combination

There's a "but" ..

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

When I first applied this (with a cotton pad) I felt a bit of a tingling sensation & later on I had a sunburn even though I applied sunscreen. So I stopped using it. But I returned to using it during quarantine & I saw great results. The only thing is that I had this toner for a period of 9 months I believe & the expiration box says (12 months), so I wish if there was other sizes available [like 100 ml] just to try it out & not waste it.
