excellent product but give it time to work
I see lots of reviews that say "I used this product 3 times... for 1 week, for one month...and didn't see any results"... time is the key. I have lots of pigmentation spots, dots, coin-sized brown marks, etc from skin that scars with any blemish or spot, sun (Australia) or no reason at all. Pus my skin was looking a bit strained and dry. I've been using a regimen of TO Alpha Arbutin plus Niacimide plus the S25 vitamin C booster for around eight months now and there are definite and marked results. Pigmentation on my neck where I had two large brown patches has faded by 70% and pigmentation on my face by about 60%. My skin looks fresher, plumper and feels incredibly soft and smooth. I've been using the Alpha Arbutin and Niacinamide in the morning and the Niacinamide and s25 booster in the evening, sometimes I add the resveratrol in plus squalene and a night cream. I use lactic acid occasionally for exfoliation. I use a day moisturiser with 50+ sunscreen too. I have sensitive skin and none of these products irritate my skin. I added in the arbutin about 3 months into my routine and I think it has made the difference, I'm really happy with the results but it just needs time and perseverance.

For the price, this is great
I bought it for my PIE (Postinflammatory Erythema). Getting older makes the process of fading the scars much longer. I do have to say that you have to be patient to see the results.

Love This Product
OMG I love this product. It is absolutely amazing. I apply and pat in a few drops to my face after washing and I saw and felt an instant difference in my skin. It was more plump, felt super soft and had a more even texture which was so unbelievable. It has Hyaluronic Acid in it which is a added bonus for me.

very gentle
I've only used it three times, and the whitening effect is uncertain. It is less irritating than Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%.

Not for Hyperpigmentation
Did essentially nothing to reduce hyperpigmentation, very disappointed. Otherwise good for general skin texture.

Product shows nice results with continued use over time
I posted a review on this product, and although I was not overly impressed by the results of the product, I had continued to use it, and I am happy to say that the product had in fact proved itself with time. My dark marks have faded quite a bit and my complexion is bright.

Useless
Barely made any difference to my hyperpigmentation around my mouth which is disappointing as I've always been a fan of The Ordinary products. Wouldn't bother wasting my money on this again.

Holy grail
I had red signs of acne for years. This product, along with Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% + HA and Lactic Acid 10% + HA was the holy grail for my face. I bought it again and again and again.
