A soothing dose of 0.3% allantoin further cocoons sensitive complexions, and thanks to its non-tacky formulation you won’t be left with a sticky base that ruins your make up either. Fantastic results so far

I tried this as a cheaper alternative to the paulas choice one which I absolutely love for how effective but gentle it is. This one didn't give me as great results in reducing redness and irritation. It's a much lighter gel texture so it absorbs quickly, doesn't pill and works layered with other skincare. However it can also tend to sting and cause further irritation when my skin isn't in the best state so rather than reducing redness it seems to cause more.

Great, when used properly!
I learned the hard way that you should wait a good length of time after washing your face before you then go on to apply azelaic acid, so learn from my mistakes and wait 30 mins until your skin is totally DRY before you apply this. Otherwise your skin will react like you've been slapped in the face by a bunch of nettles, trust me. User error aside, this is great. It does what it says on the tin, but it takes at least a month to really see any difference, you have to stick with it (unless it stings your face and/or you react badly to it, then put it down and walk away). I noticed my redness improve.
