Almost perfect...

I really like this and I'll be repurchasing it! The consistency sometimes is off (some times too much liquid not enough balm other times the opposite). It melts off makeup effortlessly and keeps my skin super smooth. I've been using it every day for 3 months and I've barely used half of it. Definitely value for your money!

Great but for dry skin

Great cleanser for dry skin, maybe even a little too moisturising (if there is such thing). It takes makeup off really easily and leaves the skin nourished.

Love it BUT....

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Would love for an option to upload a picture in to here. I really love this product. I got it delivered today and used it just now for the first time, I left it on for 5 minutes as I read it can be used as a mask as well. And WOW! The immediate effect I felt on my skin was soooo soothing its unbelievable. It removes quite well as well but I did go with my Simple micellar facial cleansing gel wash afterwards. After I patted my face down and looked myself in the mirror after I stepped outside my warm (not hot) shower I also noticed my rosacea toned down quite a bit! And here goes the BUT..... the tube broke... on my first day of using this balm, it is quite difficult to get product out... the seal on top of the tube unsealed quite a bit. I don’t know what I'm going to do now. I will keep repurchase this again after I run out of this one but that's the only thing in mind, be careful trying to get the product out. Would be very nice if they repackaged this somehow. Great balm though.

Tried to like this...

My favourite ever cleanser is Galacticleanse by GlamGlow. It melts off make up effortlessly & smells so good but it's pretty pricey especially just for a first cleanse so I was on the lookout for a cheaper alternative. I read good reviews for this oat cleansing balm & decided to give it a try. I've used this cleanser for nearly 2 months & I just can't bring myself to like it. It is so thick it's almost impossible to squeeze out the tube! I even tried running under hot water but it didn't help at all. The consistency is heavy & greasy (like Vaseline) but doesn't meltdown quickly & glide over my skin as I had expected, I really have to work it to remove all my make up. I also really don't like the smell of this product. It did leave my skin feeling 'normal' after use - no tightness, sensitivity or redness but I wouldn't buy this product again as I just don't find it enjoyable to use.

Not for me

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have used this product for over a month now and feel ready to confirm I do not feel this product is right for me. The formula is far too thick and I feel I really struggle to get the formula off my face, it’s almost like Vaseline in texture so once it’s on the skin I feel nothing can get it off other than another product to actually wash the formula off the face! I used it last night and tried to remove my make up with it, after washing and washing I finally gave up and dried my face and loads of makeup went on to the towel! Fail! I won’t bother again, still on the hunt for that perfect cleanser :-(

My favourite make up remover now

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

It is just perfect... Removes make up effectively without making my skin react or "scream" for a thick moisturiser after use. I also love the fact that I can read "the small letters" without having to put on my reading glasses - that applies to the whole range of products of TIL.

Great balm

I love this cleansing balm! It spreads so nicely and takes off all the makeup/sunscreen. It can separate so I'm mixing it a little bit in a tube.

Not as hoped

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I bought this cleansing balm as I thought it was a well-priced alternative to other balms which I love. I also thought the tube would travel better and take up less space than a heavy, bulky pot. However, there is a reason cleansing balms usually come in pots... I have to squeeze so hard for even a tiny bit of this solid balm to come out of the tube that I just haven’t been reaching for it. I feel like I’m going to split the tube every time I use it. The cleanser itself is fine, nothing to rave about, it does its job so maybe I’ll save it for hot holidays when the room temperature will soften the balm and it will come out easier.
