Great balm
I love this cleansing balm! It spreads so nicely and takes off all the makeup/sunscreen. It can separate so I'm mixing it a little bit in a tube.

Not as hoped
I bought this cleansing balm as I thought it was a well-priced alternative to other balms which I love. I also thought the tube would travel better and take up less space than a heavy, bulky pot. However, there is a reason cleansing balms usually come in pots... I have to squeeze so hard for even a tiny bit of this solid balm to come out of the tube that I just haven’t been reaching for it. I feel like I’m going to split the tube every time I use it. The cleanser itself is fine, nothing to rave about, it does its job so maybe I’ll save it for hot holidays when the room temperature will soften the balm and it will come out easier.

Growing on me
I did initially review this as following use as a mask, so here's my second review. after using as a cleanser for a week my opinion has changed. It does leave a waxy film on my skin even after removing with a hot cloth, but I don't mind that. It is slightly drying on my face but doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, but for the money and quantity, you get its far more economical than the current high-end brand I use. It doesn't smell of anything much so if its a spa like experience your after then this product ain't it, but if you want a cheap reasonably decent balm cleanser that leaves your face clean and bright then you could do far worse than this!

Incredible for makeup removal and double cleanse
So I have used makeup wipes up until now, I have combination skin. But I knew double cleaning was the best way I just didn’t want to break the bank. This cleanser is so affordable. It’s hard to get out the tube at first but then it comes out fine and it’s amazing at melting away makeup to then use a flannel to remove the excess and my skin has never been clearer. I’ve used it alongside my cerave foam cleanser to double cleanse. And niacinamide and I feel great knowing my makeup is 100% removed. So I’d highly recommend. Especially for the price and great ingredients!

average
Nice cleanser, feels good on the skin and is very affordable. Only downside: I really hate the scent. I like my cleanser scentless or with a pleasant smell, but this one just smelled like a bag of dry porridge. Would buy it again, if the smell was better...

Broke me out in “fungal acne”
I purchased this to remove my makeup and as a first step of my 2 step cleanse. I’m a teacher so didn’t use this the whole time we were in lockdown and only started using this in September. Initial thoughts when I first used this was ‘wow this is hydrating’. But by the end of the first week of school, my skin had erupted in these little bumps on my forehead which resembled fungal acne. I kept on using it for a couple more days but they just got worst. So I stopped using it and went back to micellar water followed by a cleanser. The bumps have now gone and my complexion is a lot smoother since I stopped using this.

Give it a chance
I first opened this tube with such high expectations. So many gushing reviews! Sold out everywhere! Then when I finally went to try it, I could barely get any out! The balm that did come out of the tube was rock hard. No idea why. BUT - with time this resolved wonderfully and comes out easy breazy (maybe it was storage? Maybe it was room temp related?) Now that i can finally get it out of the tube in a smooth balmy texture, I love it. So soft and soothing. I even love the mild smell - I find it very comforting. I also love how massive it is for the price. Will deffo be repurchasing

Not bad, but not the best either
I actually don't know what I was expecting but this wasn't it. It actually appealed to me as a mask rather than a cleanser, but hey a double-duty product is always welcome. Firstly it's not a bad price for the amount you get, I've paid far more for far less. The packaging is as you'd expect, functional. I shook the bottle vigorously to ensure the product was mixed. The product itself is actually quite thick and didn't easily come out of the tube which is good. Nice texture but I felt quite greasy, emulsified nicely between fingers. I confess I slapped a thick layer on with the intention of using as a mask, then left it on for about 30 minutes, not the 10 it states. I expected to see patches where the product had sunken in as I am on the dry side and my skin drinks up everything, I didn't. I then removed with a hot cloth. Skin looked dewy and felt nice, and yes there was a film on the skin, almost waxy, but this didn't bother me as I use balms constantly. I then finished with the usual creams etc. So is it any good? Well as a mask I didn't rate it that much, I prefer something thicker and a bit meatier, as a cleanser probably a bit better, it's mild, soft and gentle and not bad but to be honest it doesn't make me want to part with my Elemis cleansing balm which I feel leaves my skin in better condition. Sadly I probably won't repurchase.

I like it
It's not bad. Does the job of melting away my makeup. I'm happy with it.
