Gently apply using your fingers or a cotton pad over entire face and neck, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids) after cleansing and toning. Do not rinse. Start slowly: Apply every other day and note skin's response. Then use up to twice daily. For daytime, always finish with a sunscreen rated SPF 30 or above. For nighttime, follow with the rest of your routine.

The only thing that helped with my acne
I have had hormonal acne from PCOS for about 5-6 years and have tried so many serums, treatments, face washes etc both prescribed and over the counter. This is by far, other than antibiotic medication, the best thing I purchased. I mainly suffer from comedonal acne and usual treatments like sulfur can be stripping but Paula’s choice SA is potent enough that you only need a DAB where you have acne to minimise the acne hugely. I only use this 2-4x a week as it’s too strong to use daily, and definitely do not use every day. I also use it on my nose to keep black heads at bay (although to be honest, it doesn’t help with my sebaceous filaments). I prefer the consistency of this liquid to other serums from other brands like the ordinary, and even Kate Somerville. The only thing that annoys me is that they hiked the price up.

Secret Weapon
This stuff looks boring with its grey bottle, but trust me when i tell you that if you're one of those people who get clogged pores and zits, this is a serious weapon in your arsenal. I don't use it daily, I whip it out when things are feeling a bit clogged/bumpy and zitty. It's strong, and it is seriously effective. I recently ran out and bought some Pixi clarifing tonic. Not a patch on this stuff. My zits are gone overnight with this (bear in mind I don't suffer the awful hormonal acne I used to have, but this still helped considerably when I did). This is good stuff, and generally considered to be THE best BHA toner out there by many. If you know, you know.
