My favourite serum

Will always repurchase. You don't need more than a couple of drops a night. Not irritating at all

I love this. The best niacinimide I've used. Only need a tiny drop mixed into your moisturiser. Would repurchase.

Niacinamide

Nice product, bit pricey for what it is but it works well and helps keep my hormonal breakouts at bay so would probably repurchase.

Amazing

I have been using the PC 10% niacinamide booster for slightly under a year now and have seen incredible results - it cleared up the subclinical acne on my forehead amazingly. As I’ve been using that for a while now I decided I’d try this 20% treatment.. wow! I’ve only been using this for a couple of weeks and the texture and quality of my skin is already looking better . Would highly recommend - niacinamide is one of the best ingredients for your skin in my opinion and this treatment doesn’t disappoint!!

Effective but expensive

This serum definitely works on my skin especially at reducing redness however it is pricey for a simple product.

Good but quite pricy

Ingredient list looks great on paper, effective and science backed . I have since gone through 4 bottles of this , i did compare this to the ordinary one which sometimes i cant really tell the difference but in terms of the texture and finish , Paula's choice one is definitely formulated more elegantly. It did control my oil production. I think for cost saving you can go for the Paula's choice 10% niacinamide and it would have worked great as well

at first i was scared that it would be too strong for me, but i tried it when i had a breakout and after a day the pimples almost GONE, its really good for hormonal acne for some reason and its one of my fave steps in my routine (pls like im broke lol)

Not great for price

I used this religiously morning and night until the bottle was empty. It left my skin feeling very soft which was probably the only benefit. It didn’t really do anything else to my pores. I love other Paula’s products but this was a no from me.

Did absolutely nothing

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I watched the promotional video that Paula did for this specific product to see what exactly it would treat, and it was exactly what I needed this for. Sagging/streched pores and uneven texture. Since I love a lot of PC products, I had to try it. The 10% Niacinamide from PC met none of its claims in my case, so I hoped this would help. Well, turns out that this product was even worse. Not only did it do nothing, everything literally stayed the same when the bottle was empty, but the texture of this serum is too goopy and thick. It was not good for layering with anything at all, in a simple 2-3 product routine, as it all would feel heavy due to this serum. The texture was one thing that the 10% Niacinamide had going for it. But this was an absolute waste of money.

Worked for my sensitive and acne / severely dark spot prone skin

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've used up several bottles of this stuff since before, during, and after my accutane course. it worked wonderfully and didn’t aggravate my sensitive skin (probably because I already acclimated my skin to high percentages of niacinamide). it did not pill or leave a white residue for me (unlike other niacinamide serums). the texture is lovely, and the results are evident. However, it comes in such a small bottle that I highly doubt if it’s worth it, especially when considering the other great products on the market (like the inkey list’s, my second favourite). personally, I still stick to this thanks to its other brightening ingredients, but you’re not missing out on too much tbh.
