Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm is a nightly cleanser and super fast make up remover that relies on natural extracts, minerals from the Hungarian thermal waters and mud, plus the famous 'Hydro Mineral Transference' to cheat your way to beautiful skin. The 'Hydro Mineral Transference' is a brilliant Omorovicza invention that enhances the body's ability to recognise a good thing, in this case the clays, vitamins, minerals and trace elements found in this product's ingredients list. Cleansing balms come from some of the oldest traditions in beauty. Avocated over anything else in Asia for luminous skin, balms are the first cleanse of choice for most ‘sk-intellectuals’ – and this one’s a cut above the rest. This black, oily balm is made with Hungarian Moor Mud and thermal waters; rich in clays, it draws out impurities, clears congested pores and introduces key minerals (calcium, zinc, copper and magnesium) which boost the synthesis of collagen, strengthens the skin barrier and antioxidant defence against free radicals. Start with your cheeks and work in a circular motion to break down the balm, once it is oily, you work it up to your eyes and it will remove any make up you have on, including stubborn waterproof mascara. This is meant as a one step process, you clean your face with this and wipe, not wash, it off leaving all the oils and minerals behind as a treatment for the skin.

Excellent for congested, dehydrated skin
This cleansing balm is an absolute wonder product for combination skin that's easily congested. It lifts excess oil and the slightly gritty texture helps keep skin clean and soft, without drying or stripping. It's gentle enough for my eye makeup, and thorough enough that I don't wake up with panda eyes! I wash it off with a hot cloth, and follow with a light foaming cleanser if my skin is particularly tacky or I've been wearing foundation.

you'll need a cloth
As my skin is sensitive I prefer to wash off my balms with water. Not going to work with this one. You must use a cloth, otherwise your face will feel like a butter stick. Also spreading something black on your face as an act of cleansing is counter intuitive to me and feels unpleasant to me, although I know it doesn't affect the final result.

Gentle but thorough
My favourite cleanser as it removes sunblock, face makeup, eye makeup, even mascara while leaving skin hydrated and comfortable - never dry.

Melts makeup away!
It could seem scary as it's dark grey and contains mud, but it's a very gentle yet effective makeup remover (so delicate on the eyes). I wouldn't waste it as a second cleanser as it's so rich and, even though it rinses off pretty easily with water, it leaves a subtle oily film which wouldn't allow other products penetrate into the skin, so I prefer using another cleanser after this. It can be compared to Emma Hardie moringa cleanser in terms of effectiveness - maybe this is more purifying - but even if I love this Omorovicza balm, I think I'd go for the EH one 'cause I like its scent more. I can't wait for the cleansing-time of the day as I feel like I'm treating myself and somehow helps to leave a stressful day behind. Worth it, worth it, worth it!
