Not for me

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

The texture is pretty dry, when it melts, becomes very sticky which I don't really like. I have definitely tried better ones, especially for that price.

The best

I have been through so many of these. I use it and the jelly cleanser and find that this is good to let off all my makeup and really get my pores to feel clean!

Amazing

This is the best high-end cleanser I’ve ever used, it gets everything off and it feels so nice and doesn’t leave a weird film afterwards

Love, but..

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Have been using this product for years, lost count on how many tubs that is. It works for my acne prone skin, of course with double cleansing.  BUT, can we address the *elephant* in the room.. the new packaging and the lack of a magnetic spatula?

My absolute favourite

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have a lot of allergies so finding skincare can be quite difficult. I tried the Drunk Elephant Littlies when they first came out & this cleanser was part of the team. I have been using this for approx 2 years now and i am currently on my fourth re-purchase. The texture goes from a gorgeous balm into a luxurious oil which really does break down even the longest wearing foundation. If you add water it then transitions into a milk which leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean but super hydrated at the same time. I have noticed that they have changed the packaging which is amazing! The balm consistency has lasted do much better with this new packaging and i am nearly at the end of this pot. The spatula also is clipped to the lid which i think is fabulous because it can’t be lost. The only thing i would like to know is, is the packaging recyclable, and if so, how can i dispose of it?

Obsessed

Out of all my DE products, this one is my favourite! Nothing takes my makeup and stubborn mascara off as well as this does. It’s also a really nice cleanser but I wouldn’t recommend using it as one everyday as it can get a little greasy but to take your makeup off, it’s incredible. Highly recommend and the magnetic spoon is the best but I lost mine lol. On my second repurchase and I will keep repurchasing

Ride or Die

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am on my 3rd repurchase of this product and I use it every night before bed. A little goes a long way so one tub lasts a decent amount of time. It’s great for breaking down make up and leaving your skin dewy and fresh. I take the magnetic spoon that sticks to the lid so you don’t lose it, and take a little chunk of the cleanser out. I then use the warmth of my hands to rub into my face and then use a little water to make it turn to a milky consistency. The next part that works best for me is to use a face cloth to wash off the cleanser as it exfoliates my face and also takes it all off properly leaving no oily residue.

Nice but not worth the price

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is good but not worth the price in my opinion. It’s no better than cheaper cleansing balms. It does last a long time as you only need a small amount. If you use too much it doesn’t emulsify and then feels impossible to get off. The little exfoliating thing it comes with I hated as it was way too coarse.

Yucky

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have looked through the ingredients and can see that there is some sort of emulsifier in here but for the life of me I can’t get this stuff to emulsify. It’s like rubbing pure Shea butter or Shea mixed with coconut oil into your face. It’s oily and breaks down makeup well enough but then I can not get the stuff off. I’ve used flannels with hot water and followed with a foaming wash to remove it. Far better balms out there. Literally hundreds that are nice and balmy and melt off makeup but that come off easily with a soft cloth and warm water
