Apply to dry hair. Load up the small end of the brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out (do not use sweeping motion). Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use the side edge of the small brush.

It’s a pretty good cover over, once you get the hang of applying it. Only letdown is it doesn’t last long & you have to keep reapplying it. Covers over the roots well as it blends in.

So subtle and perfect colour
This is truly a game changer for me! have a really obvious grey streak in my fringe, so I bought this for in between colour sessions, and the dark blonde is the perfect match for my hair. It stays in until you wash your hair, so you don’t need to top up, and it’s such a subtle ashy colour that you absolutely can’t tell it’s there. I’ve tried a cover up spray before which was awful, and left me with spray marks all over my skin, but this is really precise and you only need a tiny bit! It is expensive but I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

Great for creating density
I don’t have gray hairs and don’t use this product for this the intent of covering them, but my hair is pretty sparse on my hairline so I use this as a way to create the illusion of density. It’s great for that, undetectable and very long lasting (and waterproof).

I can see from other reviews that this doesn't work so well on blonde hair, but for my medium brown hair its so useful. Now I have some grey, this makes a huge difference to how long I can go between dying my roots. Clever little product, applies like eyeshadow but clearly works better to darken than lighten...

I ordered the dark blonde to cover up the massive amounts of grey I have. Being dark brunette and grey, I am forced to use professional hair colour, mixing dark blonde and light blonde so it looks like I have highlights. I was a huge skeptic on this item but I need to try everything because it's a major pain to colour my hair every 2-3 weeks (my hair grows fast and it's thick). The packaging is luxurious, quantity is very small and I thought, WOW, I will only get 1-2 uses out of it if I'm lucky. Boy was I wrong! A little goes a long way and the colour match is perfect to my hair colour and covered the grey! I am in love with this! I know there are mixed reviews but it seems to work in the darker shades. If your roots are greasy, it'll stick to your scalp. If your hair is freshly washed, you won't get any payout. I find it works better a day after washing my hair. I would give it 5 stars but the price tag on this item is a bit much.

Good in principle but.....
As a natural redhead I was pretty impressed they offered a colour option. I've got to say this is way off the mark, way too intense a red tone which left me with ruddy patches that stood out against the rest of my hair. Perhaps good for those who have dyed red hair, but we naturals should steer clear. Although the product itself seemed to do the job well, the colour has made this unusable. Pretty disappointed and an annoying monetary waste.

Disappointing
Invested in the platinum blonde touch up to cover up my dark roots until I get to the hairdresser. Such a waste of time and money.This shade does nothing and I found using talc powder on my roots does a better job.A waste of £28. Very disappointed.
