Wanted to love this, and whilst it is not bad, it is not great either. It does help to dry out spots slightly on the day of using the mask, but that is about it. Made no other difference to spot frequency/breakouts and also leaves a strange residue after removing the mask.

Takes a few uses to get used to!
On first opening I was horrified by the smell - but it oddly grew on me! It's quite sulphuric and earthy, maybe because of the Kaolin, but it stopped bothering me after the first use. You only need a thin layer, and it creates a nice light exfoliating texture when washing off. The skin does feel very dry and almost rubbery when washed off, but once you apply your serums and moisturisers it's fine. I have been using twice a week for around a month, and do feel like my oil levels are a little bit more under control, and I'm breaking out way less, but feel I need a little longer to see the full effects. Overall recommend!

Great spot treatment
This is very drying, so, to use as a spot treatment like I do, definitely alternate nights or skip a couple of days if the spot still needs treatment. I don’t find that many nights’ worth of applications are necessary as the mask is very effective. I prefer clay/sulphur drying products (like this one) to pink drying lotions, ie calamine plus or minus zinc.

This works really well for clearing out pores. Also a little goes a long way so the pot will last a while. However, it does really stink because of the sulphur.

While it’s very drying, if that’s what you need, this certainly does the job. My favourite way to use it is just along the t-zone or as a spot treatment overnight. Very good value, too. I prefer this to calamine (pink) spot treatments that dry out (in the bottle) very quickly.

Great Sulfur Mask for Stubborn Spots
I swear by this for under the skin bumps in summer, it does a good job at surfacing them so you can use other products to then get rid without picking and leaving scars. I wouldnt use this in winter though, it is VERY drying...also hold your nose...sulfur stinks!
