As with its bestselling predecessors, Molecule 01 and Molecule 02, Escentric Molecules' Molecule 03 fragrance is an homage to the single scent ingredient, or aroma-chemical. Legendary perfumer Geza Schoen has taken traditional vetiver (a popular perfume ingredient) and created a synthesised version with his own "spin" on it, resulting in a sprightlier, less smoky incarnation.
Molecule 03 puts a modernist spin on the popular smoky vetiver note. Traditionally associated with more masculine scents, vetiver comes from the root of a tropical grass and is prized for its rich, enveloping character. Molecule 03's softer, single note version carries a significantly greener, mossy and slightly woody bouquet. If you are someone who likes your vetiver straight with no chaser, we suggest giving this one a spritz.

Edgy and Deep
I love the Molecules range and Vetiver has always been my favoured perfume ingredient despite being a traditionally male scent. This is the Vetiver molecule solo, no accompaniment, yet it still has a delightful green, dense, earthy and almost spicy presence. It's a fragrance which can be worn on It's own or as a layering scent to give your citruses & florals a bit more edge & depth. Like most of the Molecules range, it forms a cloud around the wearer & a subtle skin scent which is elegant & confident in it's modesty making it ideal for all genders. I love these fragrances - the performance, considering the simplicity of the formulae, is just genius.
