A firm part of the décor in any respectable fragrance-ophile’s collection, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Byredo’s iconic perfumes have been around for decades. In reality, the evocative brand was founded in 2006, and has already captured the hearts (and noses) of beauty gourmands around the world. Capturing memories, feelings and emotions, each of BYREDO’s meaningful olfactory offerings is so much more than just beautifully fragranced, so take your addition one step further with the accompanying body lotions too.
Take your BYREDO addiction one step further by investing in the brand’s luxurious Bal d'Afrique scent – and master the art of scent layering. The formula is laced with shea butter as well as the instantly recognisable X scent.
Housed in the brand's chic monochrome bottles, BYREDO's Bal d'Afrique Body Lotion is a must-add to your growing collection. Lacked with shea butter as well as the brand's hypnotic scent of Moroccan cedarwood, African marigold, bergamot and bucchu it's bound to become a firm favourite and result in a flurry of compliments. Caution: leave this in your guest bathroom at your own peril.

Great scent but expensive
I love the smell of this, shame it has gone up so much in price making it not worth it I feel. It's a nice body lotion but other than for the smell, there are better lotions available for so much less money on the high street

Great smelling moisturiser
This is such a lovely moisturiser which feels lovely and hydrating and smells great. I had bought this to increase the longevity of the perfume, I can’t say this has done that but it feels great and would be a nice gift or treat to yourself.

Smells amazing!
I love the consistency and noticed that the smell stays on my clothes/skin for most of the day. It’s not *as* moisturising as I’d like, and there isn’t as much product as I would expect for the price but I’m enjoying it.

Nice
I love byredo.. First time Have purchased the Perfume. Together they smell very nice.. one thing I don’t like tho it’s that the smell doesn’t persist for a long time. I will say just for one hour. I would say the smell of bal d’afrique it’s my favourite one. The texture of the cream it’s nice as well and feels good after.

My new favourite body lotion!
I picked this up as I wanted to test the scent before purchasing the perfume. I don't usually expect body lotions that are derived from a perfume to be any good, but I'm so pleased with it - it's now my favourite body cream. It makes my skin feel so soft and silky. I get awful dry patches and it's really helped to keep my skin moisturised throughout the day
