A flexible gel that keeps hair in place while giving it room to breathe, the Strong Hold Gel does that and then some by nourishing hair with a wealth of hydrating ingredients.
As with all PATTERN hair care, the Strong Hold Gel is free of SLS/SLES, parabens, formaldehyde... the list goes on. Instead, it infuses a blend of sea moss, aloe vera and chia seeds to fortify and hydrate hair, so your hair is just as healthy on the inside as it looks on the outside. Perfect for a slicked back, wet look or to lay down edges or to keep down some stubborn flyaways, this strong hold formula has just the right amount of slippage to evenly distribute the gel. Non crispy / sticky
I have very fine wavy hair but lots of it, so it can get very out of control. I bought this to use for slick up dos and it’s perfect. I didn’t want a super shiny or heavy finish and I don’t need to use too much to smooth my hair back. It feels soft and smooth and not wet. Also great to smooth hair between washes! Really lovely product - I’ll use it on repeat!Â

The most flakes i've ever seen from a gel
I'm gonna try to be as concise as possible .I used this product on freshly washed hair with no other products on the freshly washed hair .The next day after ,Millions of tiny flakes . All over my head ,it was embarrassing ( luckily I own a wig ) .I don't even think the hold is strong either. I currently use this gel on my wigs cause I don't want my money to go to waste.

Fave Gel
I also got this for my mum, but have been stealing it from here because I really like it too. Our hair textures are different but it works well for both of us. It is quite a soft gel that isn't too wet or sticky and doesn't leave my hair feeling like a helmet when I use it. Will be repurchasing as well as trying more from the brand.

Great trial sizes
I have natural tight curls and usually opt for a styling cream as im not a fan of the crunch or wet look you can get from gels, but thought I’d give it a try given the cost and post size I let my curls dry naturally and they separated well with no crunch. Only slightly at the front but think this is where I used too much product . But I’ll definitely be trying more Pattern productsÂ
