Skin Soak moisturiser

Lovely rich and thick, but still quite light, no or little fragrance, not greasy. Just wish it had an SPF. I would buy it again though. My skin looked great after a week of using it.

I have dry and sensitive skin and my cheeks are often inflamed and red. I’ve found this hydrating but not greasy and really gentle on my skin. I’m in my late 30s and find it works really well for where my skin is at these days. The inflammation on my cheeks is improving too.

Really hydrating moisturiser

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Like some others, when I first used this I thought it was too light as my skin soaked it up and it almost felt tight. Having used it day and night for a few weeks now I love it, it's very hydrating and my dry 40's skin feels well moisturised and comfortable, even after using retinol. It's not a thick emollient cream though, unlike the milk moisturiser so possibly not thick enough for everyone. But I am happy I persevered with it and think it's great value for hydration and will definitely repurchase.

Not writing home about it

Good quality hydration without a greasy feel, but not better than anything you would get from an average high street brand. In fact, for the price, I'd rather get a L'Oreal or upgrade altogether. I wouldn't get it again.

Really grew on me!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Though it didn't blow me away the first time I used it, I keep coming back to this moisturiser and have now purchased it several times. It feels lovely and smooth going on, and while it's described as rich, it's never made me feel greasy or caused any breakouts. It has a subtle, unusual, slightly lactic smell, like a sourdough starter, which I've really grown to enjoy. Very good value, wonderfully unfussy packaging, would recommend.

Nice but not rich!

A lovely light gel-cream but not as nourishing as I was hoping. Light, sinks in well, lovely for a base for make-up maybe but not a night cream.

OK

This moisturises my dry-ish skin nicely without being heavy or greasy, but it's not the skin-soak experience it claims to be for me. It's nice enough and I'll use it up, but probably won't re-purchase.

Smooth as silk

I feels light and yet rich enough for the winter. Glides on, smooth to the touch and absorbs into the skin quickly. Feels good and great for under makeup too.
