A little goes a long way and really breaks down makeup and dirt

Not for me, sadly

So this is a strange gloopy texture that didn’t smell good and was pretty difficult to remove. It was bought as a gift for me by a friend who loves decent products so I expected it would have been nicer. It left my skin feeling oily and not clean.

Perfect to use as a first cleanser to remove all the makeup and residues of the day.

Love this!

I use this product to remove my makeup and then double cleanse using Inkey Listy's salicylic acid face wash. As a makeup remover this product is extremely gentle so doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped and dry but it's still very effective. I've recommended this product to many friends. They love it too, and we all re-purchase it.

gorgeous

i love this product! the formula is so gorgeous and creamy and feels so nourishing on the skin! i use it almost everyday as a first cleanse to take off my make up and it feels so lightweight but effective. i will buy it again and again, but the only tiny downside for me is i wish the packaging was a tub as opposed to a tube - it is quite a thick formula that can be hard to squeeze out and i don't want to waste any!

Too greasy

I wouldn’t recommend this for those with oily or combo skin because it left a film of grease on my face, even after thoroughly rinsing with warm water

Love this stuff!!

I’m obsessed with double cleansing especially because I wear tinted spf and concealer daily. This is so gentle and suitable to sensitive skin and eyes. The scent isn’t over powering and it does a good job and also makes the skin feel super soft! At this price point it will be a repurchase as my holy grail was keihls midnight recovery cleansing oil but this is less than half the price!

Pretty good

Takes a bit more massaging to get waterproof mascara off, but it works. I love the gentle balmy texture and how soft my skin is afterwards.

I do love a good cleansing balm... being nearly 40 with combination skin, the gentle array of cleansing balms available in recent years have been a total game changer. My expectations are a gentle cleansing experience, removing make up, without drying my skin. I really do love the Elemis balm but have also discovered some more budget friendly, homemade alternatives made with natural oils which have been just as good. I thought I'd give this ago. I've had a positive experience with my Inkey hydrating serum. Unfortunately this was not a good experience for me at all; Texture - like super thick petroleum jelly. Difficult to squeeze out of the plastic tube. Greasy. Scent - non really... other than thick greasy balm. Cleansing Effect - it did help some make up come off but I didn't feel as if it cleansed my face as it left a greasy residue on. Experience - for me, I felt like I was washing my face with thick petroleum jelly. I gave it 3 goes and gave up. I really don't like this. Not for me at all.
