Feels like high end!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Absolutely in love with this product. It removes all make up, even stubborn mascara, so so easily with zero irritation even on my sensitive skin. It's balm-like texture melts into an oil and is super nourishing. A little goes a long way and it's an absolute bargain. I highly recommend for both first and second cleanse, star product!

Yuck.

This product is sooooo oily, it took two passes with a proper cleanser to get the residue off my face. Absolutely awful, I have no idea how it exfoliates its so slick. No problem getting it out of the tube though.

Lovely cleanser

Luxurious and gentle on skin as long as you wet face first - so perfect as your second cleanse if double cleansing. A bit rough if you use dry but then it kind of works like an exfoliator. So win win.

Im back to up my rating!!!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I reviewed this almost immediately I was so impressed and needed to share the love with everyone. I'm back after repurchasing for the second time to five it a full 5 stars!!! It's now my new all time fave cleanser/ mask. It's such a good price too! I find it is really nourishing for my combo dehydrated skin I use both am and pm with an extra thick layer that I leave on for a while whilst in the bath. So good!

My skin is sensitive and prone to redness. This cleansing balm is very gentle.

Love so much about this cleanser

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am really loving using this cleanser. I think it is an absolute bargain for the price and is comparable to many other (higher priced) balm cleaners such as Eve Lom, Elemis, Emma Hardie which are amongst my favourites in this category. You get a massive tube that will last ages. The value for money is spot on! I love the slight grainy texture which gives a lovely, mild exfoliation. It is very easy to remove with a face cloth and doesn't leave any greasy residue as can sometimes be the case with such a thick balm. I haven't had any of the issues getting the product out of the tube as other reviewers. Might have something to do with the fact that I live in a warmer climate. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is because of the smell. I can't make up my mind if it's fragrance free or has an odd oatmeal like aroma...

On the fence

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

My skin is older, reddened, thin, with blackheads and open pores, it is oily but can be dry. I like a cleansing balm and have used many over the years. This is a thick, balm with some slight graininess. It has no fragrance. It is easy to move around the skin and it does break down makeup. When water is added it becomes a thick cream. The tube is soft flexible plastic, but it does need a bit of elbow to squeeze it out in a cold bathroom. I am not sure that it is right for my skin, I think that the oat bits whilst quite soft with no hard edges are just a bit too much for my skin and I notice that when I don't use this, my skin is happier. I think if one can tolerate this albeit slight texture then fab, but for those with a more sensitive/reactive/redness prone skin it may be a bit much. I like it but not for everyday makeup removal.

Too strong for me

I liked the idea and I'm used to a lot of cleansing balms, but this one just takes away too much from my skin. Afterwards my face feels really dry and tight. Hopefully they decide to make a gentler cleansing oil in the future.

Great product

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a fantastic cleanser. All makeup was gone, and it feels lovely on the skin. It also washes off effortlessly and doesn’t leave any weird residue. Only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the packaging. This is a proper balm and as such is difficult to squeeze from a tube, please repackage this in a pot. Definitely be repurchasing this

Where’s the oats?

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Value for money is great. No scent. Really thick, like so thick that it was really hard to squeeze any product out the tube. Soon softened, feels super nourishing and buttery, becomes milky with water and removes easy enough. Skin felt super nourished and no drying feeling at all. A much thicker, harder version of the Eve Lom cleanser. Great for dry skin.
