Essential for your faux-glow

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I always keep coming back to this gradual tan! I have tried so many different gradual tans, but Tan-Luxe's lotion is by far the best one. I love that it's buildable, it doesn't streak or transfer (or very little if so). The tan itself its soooo natural. I used this on my wedding day, as I am not a huge fan of spray tans, and this did a perfect job. I highly-recommend!

The perfect lazy tan

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am very pale and although it's a gradual tanning lotion, I feel like I really get my money's worth with this as using it only once gives me a lovely golden glow and lasts the best part of a week. Of course, if you prefer a deeper tan then you will need to apply this a few days in a row to achieve the look you are after. It does have a slight fake tan smell but I have known much worse and the moisturiser itself feels great and isn't too sticky or heavy.

My go to!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've tried quite a few gradual tanners over the years and this one is by far my favourite. It has a fairly lightweight texture that is so easy to apply - I just use my fingers but it works well with a mitt too. I have fair skin and it gives me a nice tan after just one use but I personally like to use this 2-3 times in a row for my perfect tan shade. It also wears nicely and doesn't ever go streaky or patchy. If you're looking for an easy tanning product this is the one for you!

So disappointing

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am quite a newbie when it comes to self tanning but I was quite happy with the watermelon gradual tan from St Tropez. I ran out and decided to give this one a go as the reviews were fab and endorsed by The Anna Edit. I unfortunately did not like this at all, even after scrubbing and moisturising my body very well it left really bad streaks everywhere and clung to my knees and feet. The colour is not gradual at all and gets orange quite fast. The formula is quite liquid and I noticed I needed to use a lot. I don’t think I am even going to finish the bottle at this point, so disappointed for the price.

A new summer staple

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

At first I didn’t love this, I was being a hit lazy and applying it with my hands rather than a mitt and the tan was not even. However I’ve moved to applying it with a mitt and it’s made a huge difference - the tan goes on evenly and the colour builds really nicely. I’ll use it every other day to build the colour and it’s got a good undertone for me (I have super pale skin in winter) that feels natural and not orange at all. I make sure to put another moisturiser on my elbows, knees and ankles before I apply. I’ll keep using this and repurchase too.

Awful streaks

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I can’t recommend this, it leaves awful streaks and the colour is too dark on my pale skin. I’ve used much cheaper gradual tanning lotions in the past that work much better. I gave two stars as it’s not bad on the face, and so I will use it for that going forward.

Lasts & works each time

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've still got a bottle I bought three years ago (sorry CB!) so you really don't need to use much. It's simple and milky and I put it on over moisturiser without using a mitt and I've never had streaks. I'll have to order another bottle soon!

First tanning moisturizer I don’t hate

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I bought this and was delightfully surprised. As I am very pale I wanted a minimal effect, so that people don’t look at me like a psycho the next day. It did its job perfectly, and you could see the full glow after day 1. I bought an applicator mitt to avoid smudges! Now I don’t look like a vampire

Winter Tanner

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Love this, see loads of people posting it on instagram and with lockdown and it being winter I couldnt be bothered for a full tan (coco and eve) so I got this so I could go to work and not look pasty. It is great! So simple! Wash your hands after and make sure you let it dry before you put socks on as you will get tan rings also follow the instructions with this!

No sticky feeling

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've tried lots of tanning products, including other gradual tanning moisturisers and this is my favourite. It smells lovely and soaks in and dries straight away, leaving your skin feeling super smooth!
