Would prefer a creamier formulation
I got this in Sunbeam after seeing a review on TikTok about how it was a dupe for a discontinued Tom Ford eyeshadow. The colour is a little too orange-y for me, though the shimmer is pretty. It’s very pigmented and I would prefer a slightly softer finish. I would also prefer if the formula was a bit creamier. The staying power is great but I find it kind of hard to work with as it’s super pigmented, but not very buildable so it’s not like you can do a light application and layer it up. You’ve got the one shot. Same for mistakes lol. It’s nice, but for the price I wouldn’t repurchase.

Beautiful cool toned colour. Blaze is a slightly silver purple shade. Can be a bit tricky to work with and working out how much to use and the type of brush. I feel like I need an eye primer underneath as my eyelids are on the oilier side and after a few hours I can see a line on my eyelid where it has worn off.

Strongest colour of the range- spark
I purchased ‘spark’ which is the fourth of the range I’ve tried. It’s incredibly pigmented, super strong and quite tricky to use lightly so I tend not to use for daytime. It looks great with my brown eyes. I do think it’s a tad patchy in comparison to the other 3 for some reason, I guess the formulations differ but it takes seconds to touch up. Ultimately this is a great range for a one and done creaseproof shadow, and given I have oily/mature eyelids prone to being super sensitive I can’t recommend the eyelights highly enough.

I am really impressed with this cream shadow formula as I have hooded, oily lids but these stay put all day. They come in a lovely range of shades and you only need a tiny bit so this should last forever! I'm so glad that RMS is now available at Cult Beauty.
