Laying the foundation for stronger locks, this formula is infused with hydrolysed keratin (AKA the ideal pairing for heat-damaged hair) and kumquat fruit extract, which helps to return tired tresses to their former, glossy glory. Plus, a moisturising blend of babassu and coconut oils will bring hair bright up to date. Oh, and fans of the brand's Mercer Street fragrance will be pleased to hear that it makes an appearance here too: think zesty orange and Italian lemon happily married with floral notes of peony, magnolia, and jasmine. Read if you’ve got coloured hair
I have dark brown hair with balayage and this strips the colour. On day two after a wash my hair was already uncomfortably greasy and I can usually go a few days. The smell however is divine. Would not repurchase.

I had high hopes for this shampoo (and conditioner) and I only ordered it because my usual Davines had been out of stock for weeks (which I love). Anyway, I used this for the first time one evening and let my hair air dry and my hair never looks at its best when I do this but it’s manageable, but on this occasion with this shampoo it was tangly, tuggy and I struggled to get my brush through it the following morning and it was difficult to straighten. It’s better after blow drying but my hair still feels quite dry after using. I’ll use it because it was expensive but won’t purchase again.

I can't believe it took me so long
